Thanks to Kathlene for the nice review. A couple of points of clarification from what she described. The creek that runs through the property is somewhat seasonal. Sping time is best for enjoying the creek as it gets roaring with the snowmelt higher up. There is no fishing in the creek at any time but there is river fishing available in the roaring fork about 5 minutes away. Regarding the neighbors and the entire property. My family and I own approximately 20 acres that include the hillside. On the property are other houses. The closes to Casa Del Sol is about 30 yards with the parking area shared. Most guests find it plenty private. However, it should not be considered as tucked away deep into the woods but itself. That type of rental is available in the area but will be a much longer drive from any town.
