Frieda is an amazing historic house - it was so clean and well appointed as well. Our stay was brief but very memorable!

The property was perfect for our gathering with plenty of room for all of us. It was very spacious yet the fireplaces made it feel very cosy. The beds were super comfy hence everyone slept well. The seating around the verandah enabled people to get some quiet time if needed and the hammock was a hit. The supersized oven made cooking a breeze. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of cutlery, crockery and glassware. Liz was easy to deal with and ensured the rooms were configured to suit our needs. A beautiful place to stay, near beautiful waterholes. We can’t wait to visit again.

Frieda Historic Farmhouse is a fabulous home to truly feel away from it all. Four huge bedrooms make this an ideal property for the large or extended family. The property was very clean and filled with everything you could want to have an enjoyable get away. The hosts were just lovely and very accommodating. I would truly recommend this property to clear the head and breathe in the fresh country air. Kerryn

What a beautiful home in such a gorgeous location. Directions to the property were perfect, we would have been completely lost without them. My family and I enjoyed our weekend break so much we are already looking at booking again for next year. The house was perfect for our family and everyone said how comfortable the beds were. We enjoyed the fire each night and breakfast on the verandah, also the fresh garden flowers in each room was such a sweet touch too. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

We loved our stay at this beautiful old rustic property. The farmland setting is idyllic and the property manager could not have been more helpful. The house takes you back to a bygone era with amazing wrap around verandahs and furnished with some lovely period pieces. The sounds of the bush are very evident with lots of frogs and birds close to the house. The 20 minute drive to Bellingen on narrow and winding roads was not a problem but some may see it that way.

Rambling gardens lush with potential and an abundance of flowers surround the property. Gorgeous bouquets from the garden were in every room and plenty of games and books provided if needing to avoid the crowds and non mask wearing tourists! Beautiful traditional rugs covered the floors and lots of places to sit around the verandah and enjoy the bird life and fifty shades of green.

The family stayed there for a wedding close by. Liz was lovely and had great communication. She let my son check in earlier than the check in time. Would recommend highly,with peaceful surroundings.

A special place. Beautiful. Serene, and a piece of the old world, we thought long lost. The property manager was extremely accommodating and helpful. Great to communicate with. The property itself is full of hidden gems. Very well stocked house with everything you need. We loved it here. One of the best stays we have had.

It was a magical stay in a land far away by the never never river.

We wish we booked longer. This is a charming house that has been decorated in a very cosy and thoughtful way. Liz was so friendly and really cared about the place. The surrounding area is beautiful including the National park walks and the small town of Bellingen. Highly recommended.

Spacious and comfortable, large rooms, great decks on all sides and every available facility except TV.

Charming weatherboard cottage, with wide verandas and high ceilings, surrounded by tropical shrubs and trees. Must watch the magical sunrises on the verandas. Kitchen well appointed, chairs, beds etc comfortable. Would stay again

Liz clearly loves this house, and appreciates the value of bringing people together. This elegantly maintained farmhouse in Gleniffer is a delightful venue for a getaway with a group of friends or family, and Liz is a wonderful host. The house is beautifully appointed on quiet rural block, surrounded by native bush land. The verandah on the north side of the house is an ideal spot to have breakfast in the morning, read a book during the day, or to listen to the birds from the hammock in the late-afternoon light. It’s the small, thoughtful surprises that really make the place - beautiful crockery, a great CD collection and quality speakers, a giant table in the middle of the sprawling kitchen, perfect for communal cooking. We can’t wait to visit again!

Our group of grandparents, parents and kids had a relaxed stay at Liz' elegant farmhouse. The house has plenty of bedrooms and places to get away for some time to yourself or commune with the whole group together. The upstairs bedrooms are stylish with level access to the bathroom (important for the octogenarians in our group). Liz was a generous host who kept in close contact both before and during our stay and responded to all of our needs quickly. Highly recommended.

This house was a dream, like stepping back in time to a place where relaxation reigned supreme and teas on the verandah and wine by the fire punctuated the day. The birdsong and incredible garden and friendly goats and beautiful scenery offered gorgeous escapism. As did the beautiful bath tub!

We loved our stay at Frieda’s. It is delightful, romantic, quiet and really comfortable. My family and our friends felt right at home and the delightful host Emily is a dream. I kept sighing, and looking out at the landscape and saying “this is so pleasant”. It is exactly what we needed to slough of the cares of the world, even just for a short while. We’ll be back!

We arrived at Frieda and instantly fell in love with this charming house in its peaceful location. We were 3 small families together celebrating a 50th birthday and there was plenty of room inside and outside the house. The kids played in the gorgeous garden area and on the trampoline and adults could relax over a drink on the beautiful deck and multiple hammocks. Not far from town meant we could go in for lunch or supplies easily when needed. The owners are so lovely to deal with and made everything smooth sailing from beginning to end. We would definitely book in at Frieda house again!
