"The cottage was perfect, in a gorgeous area of wild Donegal. Easy walk to a couple of small beaches. Nice shop and pub a few minutes car ride away. The house was cozy and clean, with everything we needed. Anne had let us know that there was a sudden problem with the central heat, and the work needed to be done to fix it would have had the plumber there during our stay, and she didn’t want us bothered. "St Johns Peninsula offers the most panoramic view we have ever had--Donegal Bay to south, Atlantic to east and Killybegs harbor with stunning views of Slieve League in the north and Benbulbin, Sligo, and Mayo to the south. The newly renovated cottage was cozy and up-to-date. Access to hikes, scenic views, and historic sites was very convenient including the conveniences and good food in Killybegs. The host was very responsive. "

"Lovely cottage - very comfortable and very well equipped. Perfect location for seeing the many beautiful locations in Sligo and south Donegal. Breege and Bernard are perfect hosts, property was spotlessly clean on arrival along with a welcome pack - which was much appreciated. Very easy to get to cottage, quiet and rural location. Fantastic walking direct from cottage, beach nearby. Just over an hour from Knock airport and if you have time don’t forget to visit Knock Basilica."

We went to Slieve League cliffs one day (beautiful not to be missed!)Donegal town one day and had a delicious meal at the Blueberry Cafe and explored the town and Donegal Castle.
