Perfect White Xmas

Incredibly beautiful, very well decorated and súper cozy home, located in the best posible location, near every skii resort and all the atractions in the area. Jeff, was super helpful with everything we needed. We went looking for a nice White Xmas in the White Mountains and our holidays were beyond espectations. Definitly we will be back!

Absolutely beautiful spot, perfectly located and filled with all the comforts of home. We especially loved the large windows looking out through the trees, the deck, and incredibly comfortable beds. I highly recommend this stay.

Girls Weekend

We had a wonderful long weekend at the chalet. The house was super clean, well stocked, comfortable and perfect for annual girls trip. The hosts were very communicative and provided all the information needed about the house We will definitely be back.

Magic

I'm not fully capable of expressing just how great our week at the Leeward Chalet was. The home is instantly calming and as cozy as one could possibly hope for. Amenities are always right where you look for them, and are very high quality. We were thrilled with our time and cannot wait to return!

Impressing Five Architects

As titled above, five of the eight folks are architects. The Scandinavian themed renovations are so apropos and in fine materials and workmanship. The layout worked well for us all too, though would be tight if adding kids. Even though it's been a lean year for snow, we lucked out with weather and skied/snowshoed five of the seven days.

Can’t wait to book again!

What a great getaway and an amazing home. The location is perfect - close to everything but nestled into a very private wooded lot. The home is beautiful, all of the furnishings are super cozy and comfortable, and the property is thoughtfully appointed with all the basics and then some. This is a truly wonderful place and we cannot wait to return!

This place is a gem!

Loved everything about this home. So well stocked, it had everything we needed! It rained for most of our stay but we didn't mind hanging out here playing cards & watching movies. It's in a great location if you like to hike on trails off of 302. Will definitely be back!

Awesome stay near Story Land!

Leeward Chalet was a fantastic home base for our trip to the White Mountains. The house was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. My kids absolutely loved the bunk beds, and having the loft for some extra sleeping space was great. Our primary reason for visiting the area was Story Land, and the house location was absolutely perfect - about two minutes away. The owner Jeff was super proactive about contacting us with information about the house and our arrival. And for us the absolute best part was the EV charger at the house. We've had such a hard time finding charging options in this part of NH in the past - the last time we visited the White Mountains we actually rented a gas car to drive up. So having the EV charger right at the house was amazing. We recommend the house to everyone, and especially to folks driving an EV!

Cozy home, great host

The house was clean and cozy. It had plenty of room for us all to enjoy. My grandkids especially loved the loft area. The house had everything we needed to enjoy our stay & was well stocked. Our host was great, checking in from time to time to see if we had any questions.

Great house rental for family

My family of 8 adults rented for a week in early August. The house had everything we needed including those necessities that you always forget (tissues, paper towels, cleaning supplies, coffee, oil, butter, etc…). The great room was our hangout space as well as the back deck. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep and be social. We also enjoyed the fire pit with ample firewood. The host was great at answering any questions we had and ensuring we were all set with everything we needed. The location is convenient to many destinations and very easy to get to. I highly recommend this rental for both the property and service.

Great week in June on Ludwig Strasse

A very enjoyable and comfortable place; spotlessly clean inside, upon arrival. We stayed six nights in June and would have done another week if we could have. The main space—like a big studio apartment with kitchen, dining area, and living room—would work perfectly for big meals and evening entertainment. The long kitchen counter doubles as a bar. The master bedroom is good sized and the big bed is super comfortable. The other two bedrooms on the lower floor are nicely sized, and the loft over the kitchen looks like a fun space but we didn’t have much reason to go up there. A group of four to six people would have plenty of space in this house. Big plusses: 1. Location: The property is roughly equal driving distance between Crawford Notch and Mount Washington. Fifteen- to 20-minute drives up Routes 16, 16A, and 16B, and up or down Route 302 take you to a variety of trails on state and federal land. Good and great hikes are everywhere. 2. Owner responsiveness: The owner was very quick to respond by text or call to any questions we had during our stay, and offered good suggestions for local resources. This is a split-level house; you enter on a landing, and to the right are stairs up to the main space and stairs down to the bedrooms. The driveway has space for several vehicles, but with more than one car turn-around space would be tight. Nice, walkable neighborhood.

Excellent stay

The house is clean, well equipped and recently updated. 8 of us were very comfortable. The fire pit was great and we enjoyed having access to the Christmas clubhouse where there is a pool and gym.

Great Stay

Stayed there for 3 nights with my family. Loved the location and the house worked perfectly for my family of 5. Owner was responsive and helpful. My wife kept saying how she loved how the house was decorated and how comfortable she felt there.
