Cozy cottage for wine country getaway!

We loved our time here. The cottage is well equipped and was very comfortable to enjoy our stay in Sonoma county. We sat on the deck, enjoyed the hottub, watched some football and slept well.

Creek side paradise

This is the second time we have stayed at this property and it did not disappoint. It is such a peaceful place with the creek, wild life (we saw deer lizards an array of birds a cat and even a llama who lives across the road) add in all the beautiful plants and places to sit and enjoy this place is one of a kind. The pool is a wonderful place to just float away the day and is just the right temperature . We even enjoyed it during a little sprinkle of rain. Definitely will return .

A couple major problems

Two really impactful problems affected our stay. First, the pool was not operational. It was very dirty and there wasn't enough water in it for the recirculating pump to operate. By the third day I got the pump to work, but never was able to get in the pool, a major reason we rented the property. Worse, our son joined us for two nights and used the fold-out couch. On the couch was a mattress pad covered in blood spots. Looked like a bedbug problem in the past. We didn't find any bedbugs, but my son ended up sleeping in a chair. Pretty disappointing. Other than these two problems, the property was really nice.

Amazing

We stay in VRBOs often and this was by far the best. It had everything we could possibly need. Most well appointed kitchen in any vrbo ever, bug spray, flashlights, spa robes, comfy beds, everything!! The property is beautiful and private, the pool and hot tub were fabulous, we had a great time in wine country but we could have never left the house and still had a great time! The welcome was so thoughtful and sweet! I can not say enough great things about this place! We are looking forward to our next stay and sending all our friends and family.

Amazingly spectacular

I cannot say enough about this property. From the beautiful foliage to the very comfy home to the beautiful creek and the welcome basket. It is so private there you feel like you’re on your own private retreat I rent houses all over the country, and this is by far one of the very best I’ve ever rented. we had the most amazing time. so close to Glen, Ellen, and that wonderful store in Glen Ellen is so close. So close to Kenwood. We had a girls trip and nowwe are going to stay here we think annually. Thank you so much for opening your home to us and sharing this beautiful place.

Great Location for Wineries

Four of us stayed at the property for a few days so we could enjoy wineries in Sonoma and then Napa. The property was very quiet and enjoyable. We didn't use the pool but we did enjoy the hot tub. Personally we wouldn't recommend having 6 in the house; we were very comfortable with the four of us but it would have felt crowded if there had been 6. The sofa couch was comfortable, as were the beds. The bathroom was clean and well stocked. The kitchen was also well stocked and the welcome basket was very sweet! We would absolutely stay again and recommend others to stay as well.

Beautiful property with great location and pool. Wish the shower head were replaced or new. Some of the furniture was dated but very comfortable. The host had everything we needed. Would stay again. Just wish the bathroom had walk in shower instead of tub

Great place to relax

Nice cottage by the river. Very relaxing stay with thoughtful welcome basket full of treats and wine. Hot tub by the river was wonderful. Pool is not heated so really too cold to swim in at our time of visit in March. Nice to have a Washer and dryer too. Literally the only issue was that a couple of kitchen items were dirty but we just washed them so not a big deal. Would recommend if visiting the area

Slice of heaven in wine country

This was a perfect place for a getaway to Sonoma. The hosts provided everything we needed and this cozy home is in a great location to enjoy Sonoma/Napa. Hiking, dining, and of course, wine tasting, are all options from this cottage.

Beautiful location

This was a great place to come back to after spending the day out sightseeing. There are lots of great outdoor spaces. We were greeted with a welcome basket which was a great way to start of our trip! Packed clothes for going out on a morning jog, but the roads are a bit more rural (narrow & curvy) than I would feel comfortable running on.

Perfect Cottage Getaway

The cottage is so sweet and perfectly appointed for a peaceful getaway. We enjoyed evenings on the porch, until we got cold - then we warmed up by the fire. The pool was awesome when it got too hot. Lovely grounds with spectacular visitors: deer, hummingbirds, turkeys, and all sorts of birds. We will definitely be back.

We went for our 25th anniversary. There was a lovely gift basket and treats upon our arrival.

The property is very private and peaceful. We saw a deer on the property one day. It is sunny and bright and has all the amenities you need, including everything you need if you decide to stay in and cook a meal. I will definitely stay there again.

Perfect

It was a weekend away for my birthday with my partner and it was the best birthday present I've ever received. I was on the lookout for a place like this for months before I found this little cottage, tucked away near Sonoma Creek. It feels like you're the only ones around, even though you are next to the street. The property is bigger than I expected with it's access directly to the creek and lovely outdoor seating areas, some hidden away! All the flowers were in bloom, which made this place even more magical. Despite our trip having a few hiccups, it didn't take away from the experience we had in this cottage. DSVR was beyond helpful and I couldn't recommend them more as a vacation rental booker. I can't wait to come back!

Very comfortable stay, we didnt spend a lot of time at the place but when we did it was in the hot tub which was the bomb!
