"The property was absolutely lovely. Perfect for what I was looking for. Close to the main town of Glastonbury as it took a short drive to get there. The accommodation was very clean. Towels and linen provided and kitchen equipment was very good. Bed was very comfy and I loved the lighting in there. Overall I enjoyed my stay. Would highly recommend and when I go back I would love to stay there again "

"Absolutely fantastic stay here! From the moment we checked in we felt at home and comfortable in the beautiful property. Jan and his colleagues were all helpful, friendly and enthusiastic throughout. Room was absolutely spotless, well appointed and comfortable. Food was exceptional, can’t speak highly enough about the evening meal we had it was absolutely delicious and breakfast in the morning was tasty too, super fresh pastries! "A 3-star hotel / bed-and-breakfast - very personal, friendly service. The hotel is visited daily by locals buying newspapers. All meals cooked to order, including breakfast - a nice change to the usual experience in hotels nowadays. We turned up at about 4.30pm to find opening time was 5pm - we must have missed this in the instructions. The hotel was open promptly at 5 pm however. On the Sunday the bar closed at 5pm so dinner had to be elsewhere - not a problem for us as we always tend to have...

"The room was far too hot. There was a thick winter 13 tog duvet on our bed ( and it was June weather) my husband asked for a blanket and sheet so the cleaner took away duvet but only left a sheet no blanket, so we were then cold on our second night and had to put our light raincoats on ourselves to keep warm:( The bed was far too small with it being a small double. Suggest you get smaller bedsize cabinets thsn the chunky ones and invest in a wider king-size bed for comfort for guests!"

"Met our hosts they were very welcoming when we arrived. Our room was very clean and comfortable, our daughter was travelling with us she had a small room next to us. The next morning we had a full English breakfast also cereal and toast if you wanted it. I must mention the back garden like something from a gardening magazine, with a beautiful large pond and water feature."

"The breakfast was, I’d say, better than in a Hotel Ibis. The food was, definitely, locally sourced. We reached Bruton and the Hauser & Wirth arts complex easily from this hotel. We also visited the Jurassic Coast, but that took us a whole day, and we returned by 10pm."
