Summary: Our flat is set on a quiet street, minutes away from Botanic Gardens, Great Western Road, Byres Road and The University of Glasgow. Surrounded by ample restaurants and bars. As you enter, you will immediately feel the homely atmosphere. All the rooms are bright and spacious and the decoration is stylish. You can relax in the living room in front of the fireplace or you can try your cooking skills in our fully equipped kitchen. The beds are large and comfortable. You will love your stay here. PLEASE NOTE - due to a recent storm we have a fallen tree at the entrance path to the property and has damaged the ground work. We will provide alternative entry instructions if you struggle with lots of luggage.

The Neighborhood: The apartment is in the heart of Glasgow’s vibrant West End, just minutes from shops, restaurants, cafés, and bars. Byres Road and the famous Ashton Lane are a short walk away, offering everything from fine dining at Ubiquitous Chip to ramen at Ramen Dayo. Enjoy a pint at Jinty McGinty’s or craft beer at Innis & Gunn, and even catch a film at the charming lane cinema.
Nearby, Kelvingrove Park and the Botanic Gardens offer peaceful green spaces perfect for a picnic or stroll. With scenic views of the River Kelvin and the University of Glasgow’s iconic architecture, it’s also a favourite for stunning photo opportunities.
Getting Around: Cecil Street is excellently connected by public transport in the heart of Glasgow’s West End: Subway: - Hillhead Station – 5-minute walk. Ideal for quick travel to the City Centre or Southside. - Kelvinbridge Station – around 10 minutes on foot. Buses: - Frequent services run along Great Western Road and Byres Road, just minutes from the property. These routes connect directly to the City Centre, West End attractions, and beyond. Trains: - Partick Station is a 20-minute walk or a short bus/subway ride. Offers rail links to Glasgow Central, Glasgow Queen Street, and other regional destinations. Taxis & Ride Shares: - Uber and black cabs are readily available. You can hail one on the street or use ride-hailing apps. A trip to the City Centre typically costs under £10. Airport Access: - Glasgow International Airport is about 20–25 minutes by taxi (approx. £25) or reachable via the Airport Express Bus 500, which departs from Buchanan Bus Station.
Walking and cycling are also great options, with plenty of nearby amenities and attractions within easy reach.

This property is exquisitely decorated with an airy feel about it. The photos do not lie. I was very very pleased when we arrived and saw how lovely the setup was. It was within walking distance of Huntington museum and Huntington Gallery. The Botanic gardens are an easy walk away. We didnt need to leave the area on our first day of explorating.It was a wonderful place to rest in the evening after a long day of sight seeing or shopping.If you prefer nightlife there is plenty of exciting bars nearby ranging from high class to student grunge and more.I recommend checking out De Courseys Arcade which features a range of craft and artisan shops with some unique items.The appartment is near a subway station on the Circle line. We could easily access the center of Glasgow and other tourist sites from there.We had a wonderful time. And left the place rejuvenated.

What a lovely flat right in the heart of the West End. Whether you are a regular visitor to Glasgow or a first time visitor, this quiet, beautiful home is conveniently located five minutes from the subway and a short walk to some of the most fun spots on this side of the city.
