Living, dining & kitchen

The bright and welcoming living and dining areas offer plenty of space to relax together. Put your feet up after a day exploring Glasgow, settle in for a movie or gather around the table for dinner and a blether about the day's adventures.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything needed for self-catering, whether you're rustling up breakfast before heading out or enjoying a proper dinner at home.

With an en-suite bathroom, family bathroom and additional ground-floor WC, there's plenty of space for everyone to get ready without the usual morning queue.

For longer stays, the separate utility room with a washing machine and dryer means you can pack a wee bit lighter and keep on top of the laundry without taking over the kitchen.

Outdoor space

Outside is where Lochburn House really comes into its own. Step directly from the living and dining areas onto the large rear terrace, perfect for a morning cuppa, an evening catch-up or making the most of those precious Glasgow sunny days.

Beyond the terrace is the private enclosed rear garden, giving you even more outdoor space to enjoy.

The master bedroom has its own private balcony overlooking the rear garden. There's also a second, smaller balcony off the first-floor hallway overlooking the front of the property.

Location

With Gilshochill Station just a short walk away, getting into Glasgow is easy without having to take the car.

And if you fancy seeing a wee bit more of Scotland, Lochburn House makes a great base for exploring beyond the city. Loch Lomond and Balloch are around 30 to 35 minutes away by car, while the postcard-perfect village of Luss is around 40 minutes away, traffic permitting.

Spend the morning exploring Glasgow and the afternoon enjoying a loch-side wander. You really can have a bit of both.

Whether you're visiting for family time, work, concerts, sightseeing or simply a wee Scottish escape, Lochburn House gives you plenty of space indoors and out to properly make yourself at home.

Guest access

Guests have exclusive use of Lochburn House throughout their stay, so the whole place is yours to make yourself at home.

You'll have access to all three bedrooms, the living and dining areas, fully equipped kitchen, utility room, en-suite bathroom, family bathroom and additional ground-floor WC.

Outside, you'll have private use of the large rear terrace and enclosed garden, as well as both balconies, including the private balcony accessed from the master bedroom.

Free private parking is available on site for cars only. Commercial vehicles and vans are not permitted.

Self check-in means you can arrive independently, with full arrival and access instructions provided before your stay.

Other things to note

We're chuffed to have you stay, but here are a few wee things to keep everything comfy for everyone:

🚫 No parties or events. This is a stylish Glasgow stay, not Sauchiehall Street on a Saturday night!

🚭 No smoking or vaping indoors. And definitely not dangling out the window!

🤫 Please be mindful of our neighbours. Not everyone's on holiday.

👥 The property is for registered guests named on the booking only.

🐾 Children and well-behaved pets are welcome. A small pet fee helps cover the additional cleaning required.

🚗 Free private parking is available for cars only. Commercial vehicles and vans are not permitted.

🍳 The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, crockery, cutlery and utensils. Pantry items such as cooking oil, salt and pepper are not supplied.
