"My wife and I spent two nights at Langley Castle and enjoyed our stay. We particularly enjoyed the scenery of the castle; the included breakfast; and the friendly and helpful staff. The room was nice and clean. The location of the hotel is convenient for visiting Hadrian's Wall sites, but is somewhat isolated so you would really need to have a vehicle to stay at Langley Castle. "Room was fine, tea and coffee wasn't very nice and no complementary biscuits. No magnifying mirror in the bathroom. States Brompton however 8 miles away. Bed was really uncomfortable. Evening meal was nice, 10% surcharge on you bill! Wine expenses! Breakfast was so so. Waited a long time for someone to come to the checkin fest on arrival and departure. "I booked and paid for 3 nights this week. Before arriving, I called the landline at about 11:45 no answer. On arrival just before the 3 pm check-in time the place was shut, doors locked and curtains drawn. Called the mobile number several times and messaged the mobile to inform the person I was waiting to check in.
