"The 3 bedroom property was lovely. The host thought of everything, the added little touches she provided was very thoughtful . Snacks, bathroom supplies etc. The backyard outdoor area, would have been more enjoyable if the garden and grass was not overgrown. Perhaps the gardener would be maintaining after we left. Other than that, I would highly recommend this place. The beds were comfortable, and each bed had a dofferent level of firmness, to accommodate. "

"We took my 95 year old mother for a short vacation to this cottage and it was perfect. Other than 2 steps up (which we knew about in advance) everything was on one level and the bed in the spare room was low enough for her to easily get in and out of. The lake is beautiful and we appreciated having the screened in porch to keep out the June mosquitoes. There was a nesting pair of loons that hung around in the bay. Only 1.5 hours up to Algonquin visitor centre and the accessible Spruce Board...

"An amazing place to escape from the world without travelling too far. There is lots to do nearby and the set up of the cottage gives you good amount of privacy from neighbouring cottages. Host is readily accessible and very helpful. Would definitely recommend!"

"Our stay was okay however the property was quite messy and differed greatly from the online listing. The listing said there would be things such as wifi and when we arrived we were told we had to bring our own wifi. This did not majorly impact our stay as we still had a good time however it was disappointing to not have amenities that were on the listing."

"This picturesque secluded cottage over looking Walliston Lake is roomy and gives the feeling of warmth and coziness you look for in a cottage. The owners have gone to great lengths to think of everything you would need.à have a greaenjoy your stay."

"This was the perfect spot for a winter family weekend. Two hour drive for those of us coming from Ottawa and 3 hours for those from Hamilton. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. It was nice that there was a bedroom and bathroom on each floor. It allowed everyone to have their own space. The kitchen was well equipped, although we would have preferred a regular coffee maker, we brought coffee, but not Kreurig pods and not everyone got coffee on the last day. Great property for snowshoeing...

"Great property. Clean, roomy, and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The beds were comfy, and ther kitchen was well-appointed. There was lots of room for parking trucks with trailers, and the ATV trails were very close. The sauna and hot tub were great to have after a long day on the trails. I recommend this cottage!"
