"We booked for the secure parking as it was a stop off on our holiday trip, highly recommend if this is important for your trip. Parking and breakfast included in the price of the room too, making the stay a bargain. The 2 ladies serving Breakfast were brilliant and we left feeling very welcomed and positive due to their good spirit and hospitality, thankyou! We also ate in the pub on the evening and food was excellent with good portions. Would definitely stay again "

"The Staff were fantastic - couldn't be more helpful. Room was ok, very clean, and had a good night's rest. Lovely meal and had a nice wander around the village. Very convenient off the A303 for a break on our trip to Cornwall. Highly recommend."

"We went with our children, who are 5 and 2. The family room we stayed at was big and spacious, so was the bathroom. All beds were comfortable, and they even had a cot ready for our 2yo. The children had a blast playing at the large play area while seeing the goats and alpacas. Breakfast was included and it was pretty good. The only downside was that, even though they have wifi, we had no signal in our room, so we could only go online (wifi or otherwise) at the restaurant and common areas."

"The property has the basic amenities, we only needed a bed and a shower. The bed was comfortable, the power shower hot. Just what we needed."

"I absolutely loved my stay. However, on Friday evening they played the same disco song on repeat for hours and hours. I didn’t complain but surprised no one did. Still, highly recommend!"

"I had a good night's sleep, although I did request 2 single beds for myself and my daughter, but arrived to a king size bed. I was concerned about the noise that the neighbours were making when they returned to their room, as they must have opened and closed their door around 10 times for some reason."

"We had a lovely night's stay at the Mildmay Arms and were made to feel very welcome. The room was clean and comfortable with a powerful shower. Our evening meal was tasty and we enjoyed our evening in the pub. The staff and the locals were really friendly. There were cold meats/cheese/cereal/yogurt and toast on offer for breakfast which was included. We thought both the room and the meal were really good value and would stay here again. I would just recommend taking earplugs as the church bells...
