Wonderful location

Clean, well stocked, comfortable home to make memories on the slopes. Only downside was the internet and in our place didn’t work and we used a public connection. Would definitely recommend this place!

The ease of getting into the property and the ski in/out was perfect. Our family had a great time and plenty of room for everyone. Ski / boot storage inside and a dryer to keep everything dry for going back out on the slopes. Kitchen was well stocked Thanks for a great stay

Mathews Ski 2023

We visit Winterplace every year. The Snowdens take good care of their guests. It is so nice having basic essentials in the room. I have stayed slope side and they are nice too, but more expensive and I had to bring bed linen, towels, wash cloths, just everything. It is a lot of extra packing especially considering your ski gear is already bulky. I would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay in the condo. It was clean, fully stocked with what we needed. Love the convenience of ski in- ski out to slopes! Such a plus! The owners are very accessible if needed! I will definitely stay again!

Wonderful ski in ski out

This condo was wonderful. Located on the second floor made it very easy to access multiple times through the day while we were skiing. Our four teenage boys had the best time going off on their own skiing . We love skiing winterplace and having this condo as our base was perfect . Our AWD vehicle very helpful in accessing the property in the snow as the condo building is at the top of a steep drive.

Great condo!

We had a great stay at the condos at Winterplace. This unit is very clean, well stocked with essential items and right on the slopes! Our youth group stays here and we just rent a condo at the same place. It was a wonderful experience! Highly recommended.

Great Location. Fabulous Host!

We had a GREAT time at Winterplace! The condo is one of the few ski-in-ski out options at the resort. We've stayed in this complex before, and all the units are probably the same layout, although there are subtle differences and upgrades to some. This unit was clean and well maintained. The electric fireplace and dryer are a BIG plus. The kitchen was very well organized and equipped with everything you might need - including basic pantry items that you probably forgot to bring! The beds and furniture were all comfortable. Even the bunk beds apparently, because one of the kids opted to sleep out there! The host was easy to reach and excellent to communicate with. We arrived at the beginning of a huge snow storm, and there was concern that the unit may not be vacant and clean due to the icy roads. But the guests actually left early to get ahead of the storm, and the cleaning crew worked quickly so that we could check in early and beat the storm ourselves. It was a great help and huge relief! We highly recommend this condo and the host. She said they had several units in the complex, so definitely look for them!

Last ski of the season 2021

My husband, his coworker and I went on our last ski trip of the season and rented our first Vrbo ever. I have Been going to winterplace since I was a kid and I have always seen these condos but never looked at them before. The price is very reasonable, especially with the nearest reasonable hotels being in Princeton, WV. Multiple bedrooms, a full kitchen, and easy walk out the door to the slopes. Can’t beat that. Our bedroom were very comfortable. Bedding was clean and comfortable. The bath towels were also clean and nice. The condo had many dishes, a crockpot, a coffee pot, etc which made cooking so easy. Coming in from the slopes into the “bunk room” was nice and easy to store our gear and keep the floor neat with the provided “ski” towels to clean up messes from ski equipment. I highly recommend this condo to anyone looking to visit winterplace. The view from the condo was beautiful, and I’m sure it is all year round too. The hosts were very quick to respond to questions I had, a well as getting me information I needed before I arrived. I will definitely rent this condo again next year.

Family ski trip

This is a great place to stay for skiing. We really enjoyed the condo and the location. The place was clean, fully stocked with the basics, and the people that manage the location are very polite. We keep going back because it’s a great place.

Clean and comfortable, easy ski in and ski out.

A great value for the money. The place is clean, well appointed and worked great for our family. Nice touches include keeping the essentials on hand (salt, pepper, cleaning supplies, COFFEE, etc). Kitchen has all the basic you need to cook meals. The owners were very quick to respond to our questions.

If you are looking for a great option to ski in/ski out at Winterplace, this is the place for you. It is a very well maintained, albeit it dated like all of the units in this complex, incredibly well stocked and very convenient. The owners were very responsive and understanding.

Awesome vacation stay!

The property was in the best location for snowboarding and skiing in/out. Everything provided in the condo was spot on! Easy check in/out with comfortable bedrooms, livingroom and top notch view of the slopes from the balcony. We look forward to staying again, it was one of our favorite slopeside vacations!

Great Weekend With Family

The Winterhaven condo was perfect! Cindy was so easy to work with prior to our stay and everything was very nice during our visit to Winterplace. We enjoyed our weekend of skiing and tubing. I have already recommended her to several friends.
