This is a lovely, very clean house with some nice extra touches. Definitely recommend for a stay in a really good location in Gettysburg.For some reason, VRBO is trying to make me rate my experience on a winery in this review, but this house has nothing to do with a winery and we did not visit one.

This is a perfect spot. If you want to enjoy the vibe of historic Gettysburg. we walked everywhere even though it was hot and humid. We loved the ability to come back to an air conditioned, perfectly sized, super comfortable unit. Our hosts we're just great and offered us so much flexibility regarding our stay. We are coming back to Gettysburg and we intend to stay here again if we can.

Great place and location

Wonderful location for touring. We saw Gettysburg, Antietam, and Hershey. Super clean and quiet! Great coffee! Easy walk to historic downtown area for supper and shopping. Grocery stores nearby as well.

Convenient and cozy

Cute little apartment

Historic Gem

This is charming & comfortable apartment in an antique Gettysburg home. We were in Gettysburg to cycle and the location was perfect. The front porch was lovely to sit out on both in the morning and evening. The home is a quick walk to restaurants and shops in the downtown area. It is also a short ride (car or bicycle) to the National Park and the hallowed battlefields. Cycling in the park and in the surrounding countryside was superb. Paul & Lisa were great hosts. We look forward to returning.

Perfect couples getaway!

Perfect for our couples getaway. Loved the historical touches inside the apartment. Great reserved parking spot and walking distance to town. The porch was a great place for morning coffee or evening wine....or the other way around. We don't judge :) We look forward to booking again

Three day tour

The property was well maintained and came with some thoughtful amenities. The house seemed comparable to the majority of houses in the downtown area. That being said, the price of hotel rooms in the same area seemed to be much lower and would have been a much better overall value for our short stay.

Perfect couples retreat

Our stay was great in every way. The house was a beautiful combo of history with mod cons. Everything was so clean including the large fully equipped kitchen to the large tiled bath. Then from the beautiful decor (oh the antiques and history!), large tv and comfy functional loveseat, to the personal touches of ground coffee, eggs, snacks, bathroom essentials, to the great location to town and the battlefield. We plan to stay again!

Beautiful Fall stay in Gettysburg

We had a lovely stay at Stratton House South. The location is perfect, an easy walk to dining and shops, yet still quiet. The unit is quite comfortable, though a little shy on power outlets by the bed. The historic notes throughout the unit were very interesting. We loved having the side yard for our use, and the provided coffee and eggs were delicious! We would definitely stay here again.

Great location

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Stratton House property. The property was well kept, very clean, and located in close proximity to downtown shops, restaurants, and historic sites. The owners were very responsive to an issue that we had will the WiFi service and got it resolved right away. We would stay here again. Highly recommend!

Best VRBO Rental ever!

Beautiful clean property. Paul and Lisa go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The fresh eggs in the refrigerator, the fresh ground coffee and snacks, were special touches that took it over the top. I forgot my toothbrush and toothpaste and they even had that covered. We already booked next year! My husband loved the reclining seats and big TV! Thank you for a wonderful relaxing long weekend!

Great property!!! It was everything as advertised. The house was well maintained, very comfortable and decorated nicely. The fresh ground coffee was excellent and the location was within a 10 minute walk to shops and restaurants. Perfect place for 2 and we would stay there again. The hosts Paul and Lisa were very friendly and helpful.
