As a party of four we arrived at the Villa Hieros to be met by John.We expected great things having read the reviews and were not disappointed!John couldn't be more congenial. The Villa was perfect for us. Very well equipped as per previous reviews. Location and views from the pool were perfect. Recommend hiring a car( which John can advise on). Definitely visit Costas which is a genuine Cypriot restaurant within easy walking distance, as is a well equipped Supermarket. We all agreed that this was our best holiday for many a year and do not hesitate to strongly recommend it to any one.Many thanks John!!

A wonderful springtime family holiday

We had a wonderful time in the villa. We came in February so the weather was not hot but the hot tub and heated pool were perfect for us (our kids are 11 and 13y). The views are spectacular and the villa is perfectly located to explore all of Cyprus. You can easily walk to the local taverna and supermarket. The house had everything we needed in the kitchen and there were heaters in the rooms for cooler nights. The beds were very comfy. Our host John was so helpful and kind. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to visit Cyprus.

Honest Review

Villa itself and facilities all ok as described. But some issues, not really the owners fault but have to point them out. Soon as we arrived next doors dog constantly barking till 11.30pm and from 6am in the morning. Owner went round to tell them as he knows them but it only stopped for 1day. And all the neighbours seem to have dogs that bark in the night a lot. Also over the back field is some sort of dog pound these dogs are barking and howling all night. Not had a good nights sleep in a week. If you value a good nights sleep give this a miss

Perfect getaway

The villa has wonderful views and absolutely everything anyone could possibly want from a holiday getaway. John was very thorough with his tour around the villa and very welcoming. The bedrooms all with ensuite were comfortable, and the two which opened onto the upstairs terrace offered the perfect gentle breeze through the night when the door was left open. The pool was perfect temp throughout the day and very welcoming through the heat of the afternoon. The hot tub was lovely especially after a full day of kayaking. Brilliant location which was very quiet for the first part of our stay until building work started, but that didn’t spoil the place. Close enough to drive into Paphos, but far enough to escape the main tourist gatherings. We did all feel quite guilty when the bin with bottles in didn’t get emptied, apparently everything going into the bins needs to be bagged, which was the only thing we hadn’t been made aware of, so do please make sure you get some rubbish sacks . Would definitely recommend John and Anne’s home.

Wonderful Villa

We throughly enjoyed our recent stay. The villa and facilities were great. We especially enjoyed the pool and eating alfresco using the barbecue. John was the perfect host and greeted warmly upon arrival. The villa is situated in a peaceful location providing amazing sea views. We would recommend you have a car to allow easy access to the beach and shops and to explore the island. However nothing is too far away. We hope to visit again next year!

Amazing holiday away

Best villa ever!!

We had an amazing time at the villa. It was very clean and tidy and had every facility you could wish for. The owner John was a wonderful host and he was very helpful throughout our stay. The pool was a good size and kept clean, the hot tub was the perfect place to relax while the kids splashed in the pool. Or we just sat on the porch chilling with a book and a beer. Just perfect.

Well Equipped, Heated Pool and Hot Tub - Fantastic!

Spent two weeks here, Heated Pool and Hot Tub help make a fantastic holiday, good location for Beach, Paphos and Costa Resturant along with Village amenities. Fantastic Sea view and Sunsets. Never stayed in such a well equiped Villa and we have been coming to Cyprus for almost 20 years.John was a great host, very helpfull and good at his job. All 3 bedrooms ensuite so will bring family out next time.

Fantastic property in a great location

We loved our stay at this property, John could not have been more helpful and it had everything you could possibly need for a fantastic holiday. The property has stunning views over the coastline, is in a quiet location outside of Paphos but close to local amenities. Would absolutely recommend this property.

Fabulous,fully loaded with everything you need and more in the kitchen, clean,tidy,both outside and In. Gas and charcoal bbq,hot tub, ensuite in all 3 bedrooms.... I could go on. Perfect for a quieter stay as only Costas Taverna within a 10 minute stroll. Paphos is around 15 mins by car. John and Anne were amazing, can't thank them enough for the welcome pack of bread,coffee milk etc and also we're very kind as to drop is in Paphos a couple of times. Well worth a visit.

Traumhafter Urlaub dank eines wunderbaren Hauses

John und Ann sind total liebe und nette Gastgeber, das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich nur wünschen kann und noch vielem mehr! Außerdem haben die zwei immer einen Tipp für Unternehmungen und Zeit für ein nettes Gespräch. Das Haus ist super gepflegt, alles ist sauber und die Handtücher und Bettwäsche werden nach einer Woche gereinigt. Pool und Whirlpool machen den Urlaub zu einem perfekten Auszeit! Jeder Zeit wieder und wir kommen wieder! Danke Ann und John!

Beautiful villa for restful holidays

The villa has all we needed, is spotless and clean and is well located near Paphos. We have enjoyed the hot tube nearly each evening which is really a plus. The sea view is beautiful. We have spent a very good holiday time at Villa Hieros Kepos.

Home from home

We met the lovely john and Ann at the property where he went through everything you needed to know and more! The villa is amazing they have put a lot of effort to add everything you need for an amazing and relaxed time. The view from the balcony of the sunset is brilliant. The kitchen is more than well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The BBQ has to be an industrial one complete with spit roast hot plates and grills ( very jealous) love it! All rooms clean, roomy and well presented. The pool and hot tub were appreciated by all the pool towels, inflatables and sun loungers were all 1st class The whole set up is second to none, we will be back and would just like to say a big THANK YOU to John and Ann for there loan of their amazing villa. Also thank you for allowing us the late checkout made a perfect end to a perfect holiday.

Villa was beautiful and clean with private pool and hot tub plus loads of extras for our use.

We were met by the owners john & ann who showed us round the villa and explained how everything worked, they supplied a welcome pack which included essentials until we got to supermarket which was most appreciated. The villa was stunning and very well maintained, pool and hot tub cleaned twice a week by john. Situated in a quiet cul de sac so you can relax but close enough to get to town, we were recommended to use rockys taxi which was excellent and we hired a car for couple of days.supermarket just a short walk from villa which has everything you need. I would highly recommend this villa as we had a fabulous week and it is really a home from home in every way and john & ann were great they could not have been anymore helpful, we will definately be returning in the near future.

Perfect villa for a perfect vacation

We have rented this house from John and Anne end of March 2019 and we have to say that this was one of the best houses we have ever rented in the Mediterranean area. The house has 3 large bedrooms and every room has its own bath room. The living area is large and nicely equipped with high quality furniture and electronic entertainment system. The TV is really very large with hundred of channels. The kitchen has all necessary tools and again everything is modern and in very good shape. The complete house is very very very clean! We loved that! The highlight is the large private pool (which we did not use because it was to chilly outside) and the large and modern hot tub (that, we used every day in the evening, what can be more relaxing than sitting in warm bubbling water and watching the stars :-). The owners John and Anne are very kind and always helpful. This house is their baby and they really take care about it. You have a problem you call John and he will fix it. There is one nice restaurant in walking distance (Costa's) which is really good for local food and several within 10 minutes driving time. Check out the South African restaurant 'The Lodge' and the French restaurant 'Gabor' which we can recommend. To summarize our stay at this villa: large, clean house with modern equipment and very friendly owners. Did I mention the hot tub :-) We can highly recommend this house!

Great villa. Quiet location but in easy reach of paphos

A great villa. The kids loved the pool and good amount of space. Bbq..gas and charcoal...everything you could need catered for. John And Ann met us and provided us with essentials until we could get to supermarket. Definitely worth hiring a car..drive on left as in UK so easy. Some great trips...turtle watching parasailing and the water park good fun. Overall, a great holiday in a lovely location.

Amazing!!!

For us the villa is in the perfect location, easy to find from directions supplied, short drive from airport and/or in to Pathos, Taverna in walking distance, supermarket a couple of minutes drive. It is situated in a quiet residential street, and is very peaceful and quiet. We hired a car but you could survive on taxi's/local transport from the main road, although Pathos too far to walk. John and Ann are lovely, genuine people who do all they can to make sure the villa is perfect and that you enjoy your stay. they met us at the villa to show us round and were on call the whole time we were there should we need anything, and although we didn't, it was reassuring to know. The villa is spotless, immaculately kept and fully kitted out with everything you could need. Didnt go on holiday to watch TV, but as the world cup was on, it was handy to have all the UK and freeview channels. DVD player was also handy for nights in. the Pool and Hot tub are spotless and amazing, the outside space is also well kept and spacious. All 3 double bedrooms have on suit toilets and showers, the main bedroom also has a bath. Our favourite place to sit in the evening was the bedroom balcony overlooking the villages and the sea and looking at the big starry sky. Cant report much on local beaches as we didnt bother, but Pathos harbour and town have a nice feel to them. We found it handy having a car, pathos is too far to walk but there are local buses and of course taxi's. If you do hire a car, the roads are better than ours and driving on the same side as us makes getting around very easy. A handy base if you do want to do some exploring. All in all cannot praise the place and John and Ann's efforts enough and we will definitely be returning should we want a villa holiday in Cyprus again. Very good stay

We had a delightful stay at the villa, which is very well located to explore Paphos and the Western part of Cyprus. The owners looked very well after us and were very response both before and during our stay. The house and pool is very well presented and maintained. We enjoyed our family time in Cyprus!
