This place was perfect! The location couldn’t be better, right on the beach with amazing ocean views. The home was spotless, and had everything we needed for a great stay. The host was responsive, friendly, and made the whole experience seamless. Would definitely stay here again !

The Sandbar was absolutely amazing. Gorgeous views and beautiful home. Very close to the airport and not far from George Town. If I had to come up with a negative about the house is that it is not a 5 bath house. The house has 4 full baths and a half bath in the entryway by the front door. We had 5 couples thinking everyone would have their own bathroom but 2 of the bedrooms share a bathroom. The house was very clean and Heather answers all your questions immediately. Most questions she even answers before you ask. We will be staying here again in the future but only with 4 couples next time. Thank you Heather, we really enjoyed the house!

This vacation was a dream! The house is beautiful, inviting, super clean and well appointed. Outdoor space, beach, and views are incredible! Location is very convenient. Everything was better than expected and we can’t wait to return. Definitely the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed at - plenty of room for our family of 11 inside and out. The beach was perfect!

Everything you see in the pictures is just how it is when you get there. The Sandbar's location is perfect. The most beautiful beach and ocean! We had 8 adults from 18 to 73. We snorkeled, paddle boarded and kayaked right off our beach nearly every day. The home is decently supplied and clean. The house is well appointed. Heather was very helpful prior to the trip with recommendations for meals, transportation & excursions.We hired Betty to make & deliver food for 2 nights. The menu was full of choices and everyone loved her food!We also hired Awesome Al to take us around on 2 separate days by boat where we got to see everything that we wanted (lazy river, sandbars and of course swimming pigs, feeding iguanas, swimming with sharks) and much more.We rented 2 jeeps and were able to go wherever/whenever, although if you didn't want to spend the money on that, your trip would not be compromised as meals, groceries and even booze can be easily delivered.No one in our party wanted to leave.We would stay here again.

Spectacular Views and amazing,comfortable home. We all loved everything about our stay. The house was well equipped,super clean and so comfortable. Bahamas with babies was paradise!

The perfect vacation! Four families each with a small child (6 months to 2.5 years) and one nanny had the BEST time at the Sandbar! The home is perfectly equipped, squeaky clean, convenient to the airport, and even better than the pictures. The hosts were great to communicate with and helped plan a perfect trip with their excellent recommendations from a private chef to a private boat tour to see Exuma’s famous pigs! Highly recommend this home! We will be back!

A Slice of Paradise: The Sand Bar in Exuma

Our family just returned from a dream vacation at The Sand Bar in Exuma, and it exceeded every expectation! This luxury rental is truly second to none. This is our second time to Exuma and the location cannot be beat.The house itself is absolutely gorgeous. Every corner is thoughtfully designed, blending luxury with a welcoming, homey vibe that made us feel right at ease. It accommodated three generations of our family seamlessly, offering enough space for privacy and communal areas perfect for creating cherished memories.Heather, our host, was exceptional. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, answering questions promptly and providing excellent recommendations. Her attention to detail and warm hospitality made the experience even more special. We ordered food from Betty for night one and groceries since the store was closed after 3pm on Sunday.The location? Pure perfection. Nestled on one of the most picturesque parts of the island, Whether it was sunrise walks or evenings spent under the stars in the hot tub, every moment felt magical.This trip was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Three generations of our family shared paradise together, and The Sand Bar was the perfect backdrop for these unforgettable memories. We can’t wait to return to this little slice of heaven! Highly, highly recommend!

Great house for family vacation

This was our first trip to Exuma. The Sandbar listing represents this beautiful property well, but walking in the front door took my breath away. The house is great space for a large group, decorated warmly and welcoming, and provides all of the amenities you need for a relaxing, comfortable beach vacation. Heather was so helpful before and during our trip with tips and information. The property manager was available to answer questions and help in any way. The beach is soft, white sand and the pool and hot tub were put to good use. It was just an outstanding property!

The best place to stay in Exuma!

The Sandbar is an incredible ocean front home on one of the most beautiful beaches you’ll ever see. Our 9 night stay there as a family of 10 was perfect and Heather was most helpful in planning our vacation-from activities to chef services to just enjoying the house. The house itself is stunning, comfortable and well stocked. She has thought of everything. I highly recommend this property and host and hope we will be returning again. I can’t imagine ever staying anywhere else on the island. A true gem!

Everything about this property is wonderful - great kitchen, wonderful bedrooms, great dining areas, etc. The outdoor areas are as wonderful as the indoor!!
