We cannot wait to stay here again! Every aspect is 10/10!Lidia and Eric met us when we arrived and walked through the house together. They're warm, welcoming, and thorough. They live right next door, and are available any time, should you need something. They picked up a few groceries we requested and had the condo stocked. This was so appreciated! I've never stayed in a condo that was so perfectly stocked. Kitchen had a blender, coffee pot, tea kettle, food storage containers, pots, pans, spices, utensils. They had a massive outdoor room full of water toys, floaties, kayaks, paddle boards, snorkel gear, etc. Extra bath towels and beach towels, cozy blankets, etc. Location is perfectly central and convenient - approximately 30-40min to either tip of the island. An easy 8min drive into Georgetown. Very easy drive from the airport as well. The view is unmatched!

We had an amazing time, Eric and Lydia are by far the bests hosts we have ever had. Full of information and always ready to get you where you need to go or do with the local inside scoop. Hoopers Bay is the prettiest least crowded beach in our opinion, despite the Turtles having left. The view of the bay, the private beach area, it is very centrally located to town and access to Stocking island. The condo is well stocked, you can hear the waves lapping at night, perfect for star gazing. We kayaked the bay as well. We will hopefully be back. :)

Simply the best

Our family stayed at this beautiful VRBO in Hoopers Bay over spring break at the end of April, and we would stay here again and again and again! It was absolutely perfect for our family of four — the size of the home was just right, with comfortable beds, laundry on-site, and literally everything you could possibly need for beach adventures: flippers, snorkel gear, a paddle board, kayak, tons of floats and tubes… you name it, it was there.The beach at Hoopers Bay is stunning — soft sand, calm waters, and just steps away. The location itself couldn’t have been better either — close to the grocery store, the center of town, and as an unexpected bonus, we were there during Regatta Week, which made it even more special! Definitely rent a car, it is worth it.What truly made this stay unforgettable, though, was the hospitality of Eric and Lidia. They are true angels — some of the kindest, most genuine people we’ve ever met. We arrived on Easter Sunday when most restaurants and stores were closed, and they invited us to a picnic at their home. Our kids especially connected with Eric, who took them to cut down coconuts, hosted a beach fire, and patiently answered our curious 8-year-old’s endless questions about island life.Their kindness, warmth, and the love they put into their home shines through in every detail. We left with full hearts and can’t wait to come back. If you’re considering Exuma, this is the place to stay!

Beautiful and relaxing stay at Driftwood

Wow— what a wonderful place to stay! Eric and his wife were great hosts and their condo was perfect for our trip to Exuma. The condo was in a beautiful and peaceful bay where the water was the most amazing shade of blue. The condo came perfectly equipped with everything we needed to cook and enjoy the beach. Close to town, the airport, and a food market. It was clean, well kept and Eric gave us lots of great recommendations to tour around the island. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be back!

Beautiful Exuma Beach

Perfect Exuma beach stay. House is just what we were looking for. Easily located in town but once in house and on the beach very private. Beautiful beach just walk right into the Crystal clear water. No rocks or seaweed. We visited numerous beaches but always said right where we were stay was the best!!

Great location and view!

Driftwood Condos are in a great central location on the island, and the view of Hooper’s Bay is breathtaking. Lidia and Eric are such a sweet couple. They reached out prior to our trip to see if we had any questions. Once we arrived, they gave us a quick tour of the property. They had everything we could possibly need, from beach towels and bug spray to kayaks and snorkeling gear. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Wonderful!

Driftwood Condos was beautiful. The view and access to Hooper's Bay is perfection. The condo was very clean and the air conditioning worked very well. WiFi was also very good. We've stayed in Exuma before and the WiFi at a different VRBO was weak. The condo is the perfect size for a family of 4. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking a few meals and packing lunches for your adventures. Eric and Lidia were so kind - when I got a low tire pressure light on the rental car, Eric used his air compressor to check pressure and air up all 4 tires. Condo is well stocked with floats, snorkel gear, chairs, paddleboard, kayaks - everything you need to enjoy the beach to the fullest. The only downside was we wish we had more time to enjoy!

Million Dollar View

Eric and Lidia the owners have an amazing rental locatiion. The apartment was extremely clean and well equipped. She gave a tour of the apartment, how things worked, and everything was perfect. The views of Hooper's Bay were vast and mesmerizing. It was so relaxing there we struggled to stay awake until 9:00 each night! The location is also great for getting to Georgetown, restaurants, and golf. I highly recommend this rental.

Honeymoon of our dreams!

What a wonderful place to stay! The location is perfect and the views couldn’t be better! Lidia & Eric were beyond welcoming & accommodating - even providing us coffee before we had a chance to grocery shop! Very clean space with everything you need from kitchen utensils to beach gear. Simply amazing!

We stayed at Driftwood Condos for a week. The house is located on a beautiful beach where you can swim with turtles. Our kids were just in love with the place. The apartment we were staying at had an amazing view, was very clean and fully equipped with everything you would need during your vacation. Lidia and Eric are wonderful. Always happy to help and super, super kind!

We had the most amazing time

We have stayed in many places all over exuma and this place is our favorite by far! Lidia and Eric were incredible hosts and the beach is the most beautiful you will find in all of exuma. Just a short walk to the turtles, the beach is calm, relatively quiet and the place is adorable. It had great AC, all the kitchen stuff you’ll need and is clean and incredibly comfortable. We will be back 100%!

Wonderful Condo and Location

The condo was perfect. It had everything we needed. The view of Hooper’s Bay from the condo is breathtaking. The beach is beautiful and just a short walk down the steps from the condo. The owners, Eric and Lidia, were amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a wonderful one.

Absolutely Perfect!

Just fabulous! From the beach to the property everything was spot on. Meeting Lidia & Eric was such a joy. They were helpful and so nice. Peaceful beach and the chairs and hammocks were yummy. The only problem we had was having to depart. We will be back asap. Highly recommend this place.

Amazing Vacation!

We had a wonderful two week stay at Driftwood Condos! Eric and Lidia were the perfect hosts and so helpful. The condo was equipped with everything we needed. We loved the layout of the condo and the large porch. The beautiful beach was only steps away. We loved walking the beach and watching the turtles. We enjoyed the kayaks and the shaded area reserved for Driftwood guests. We will definitely return!

Breathtaking beaches

This property is perfectly pictured and described. Absolutely stunning views, your own private beach. It's amazing. What you can't see is how clean it is when you arrive and how lovely Lidia and Eric are. They are incredibly kindhearted and interesting people who want their guests to have the best vacation possible. I could not ask for more from a property or from a host. We enjoyed the kayaks and the paddle board and the calm bay with daily turtle sightings. Beauty abound!!

Most Amazing Property!!!

Lidia and Eric are the absolute best! They welcomed us as soon we arrived and even did some grocery shopping for us. The home has the best view and we had everything we needed! Loved the paddle boards and kayaks. We will definitely be back to stay here soon!

Last minute lucky find!

We booked the lower level at Driftwood at the last minute (5 days before our trip!) because the place we originally booked had a roof leak. What luck! The condo had everything we needed, and the beds were comfortable. (It’s nice not having a sore back every day, as often happens on vacation). If you’re a light sleeper, try to get the upper floor. The people above us weren’t loud, but they did walk heavily and got up at 5:30am every morning… we came home from vacation very relaxed but not exactly well-rested! We spent a lot of time on the porch listening to the waves in the evenings, but bring your (really strong) bug spray! We enjoyed leaving the patio doors open for the cross-breeze and to listen to the waves at night, but ended up having to use the air conditioner more than we would have liked as there were some holes in some of the screens and the bugs found their way inside. Most importantly, the condo is right on the beach with an amazing view. The clearest, bluest water we’ve ever seen. The public beach access is right beside the condo so some days the beach got a bit busy with people coming and going to see the turtles, but we almost always had the beach in front of the condo to ourselves. And we didn’t feel the need to check out any other beaches on the island because we had perfection at our back door. You know you have a good thing when people walking by ask you for the name of the place you’re staying at! Eric and Lidia were great hosts. We had fresh papaya off their trees and they were there to answer any questions we had and suggest things to do on the island or just chat. They also picked us up a few groceries since we arrived on a Sunday. Best vacation we’ve had in a long time and we look forward to returning to the Exumas and Driftwood condos again!

Best Trip Ever

We had the most amazing trip! Eric and Lidia were wonderful hosts. They met us at the condo and gave us a tour. The location can’t be beat! We walked to see the turtles almost daily. The view was amazing. The water was calm and the beach area was perfection. I can’t say enough nice things about our visit! It was perfect and we will definitely be back!!
