A rural setting with old oak trees surrounds this family farmhouse, and animals roam the 6 hectares of fields, including sheep and Charlotte, the affectionate sow.

To further respect the environment, the owners are converting the existing swimming pool into a natural filtration pool this winter (2026/2027). The pool's dome will be removed in 2027.
The house features spacious rooms, a collection of leather armchairs, 5 bedrooms, 7 beds, 2 bathrooms/shower rooms, and a living room with a wood-burning stove. All-inclusive service: beds made, towels and kitchen linens, firewood, utilities and cleaning, and two pets are welcome (for more, please contact the booking service).

Located 11 km from Château-Gontier, renowned for its gardens, historic center, marina (boat, bicycle, and paddleboard rentals), and the Refuge de l'Arche wildlife sanctuary. Laval is 30km away.
Local shops are 4km away. A warm welcome awaits you from Clare and Gary, who offer advice in French and English.

PLEASE NOTE: The house is not certified by the French Ministry of Youth and Sports or as a public establishment (ERP), therefore it is not suitable for stays by young people with chaperones. Until September 2026: Indoor, unheated swimming pool under a dome - open from April 15th to September 30th - 20m x 4m, 1.5m deep, with access steps.

2027 Season: THE POOL WILL BE MODIFIED. The pool basin will remain the same shape; however, the water will come from a new basin where rainwater will be naturally filtered. The dome will be removed. The pool will be unheated.

Terrace with furniture, sun loungers, and a charcoal barbecue.

INCLUDED: Beds made - linens - towels - electricity - heating - swimming pool - cleaning (routine maintenance and tidying of the cottage are mandatory; otherwise, a cleaning fee of €120 will be charged) - one pet allowed, subject to compliance with the Gîtes de France pet charter.

On-site: The caretaker couple is present and discreet.

Contact the owners to arrange your arrival a few days prior to your arrival. A €120 cleaning deposit is required upon arrival. This deposit will be refunded once the property has been regularly cleaned and left in good order.
