Lovely Stay on Seneca Lake

The little house was lovely. The location was perfect. The bed was very comfortable. The house was immaculate. The lake was steps away. No stove or oven so don’t plan on cooking. Plenty of vineyards, restaurants and things to explore close by.

Cozy cottage

My wife and I loved our stay at Cottage at Castaway. The space was sparkling clean, comfortable and easy to access. Although we couldn't take advantage of the waterfront in late October, it looks like the perfect place to visit again in the summer months.

Cute cottage!

Nice cottage ... enjoyed the dock and kayaks! There is a Large house in front of the cottage so you have a side view of the lake. People renting the big house in front were not aware this was a shared dock. That should be in the cottage description and the description for renters of the large home. Could save some akward encounters.

Updated unit with great views, well appointed. Dock is shared by big rental house on property so depending on how many are there, it can be hard to get dock time! Very close to Geneva so it's a perfect location.

Perfect getaway!

We had a great vacation staying in this beautiful little cottage! Very clean, very cozy and excellent equipped place! Location and view at the Seneca lake was gorgeous! And of course - the lake itself - we enjoyed swimming (water was so clear and so surprisingly warm!) and kayaking! Don’t forget the water shoes!) Beautiful sunrises! And just sitting at the dock and reading - was so relaxing! Great local food and wines (wonderful recommendations from the host)! In times of COVID, we were feeling very safe. Thank you so much, Chris, for hosting us! Will be definitely coming back!

Long weekend stay

Really enjoyed the property and location! Everything was very clean and appreciated the suggestions on restaurants/wineries. Giving 4 stars because while we knew this property was a guest house on the owners main property, some communication about when they would be there and if we still were able to use dock/outdoor space would have been nice. Wanted to fish off the dock one evening when people weren’t out there but their stuff was left all over the dock making it seem like we shouldn’t have been using.

Perfect long weekend for 2!

This little cottage was truly perfect for a quick weekend getaway. My boyfriend and I were very impressed by the amenities provided how they all fit into such a small (but not too small!) space. It was also very clean. We were very cozy during our trip in March and the lakefront was gorgeous. Biggest bonus was how easy it was to communicate and arrange with the owners, they were very generous! Would definitely recommend this lovely spot!
