A beautiful apartment
This is a HUGE apartment that is tastefully decorated with antiques and original artwork. I loved all the exposed brick and big windows in the master bedroom. The linens were very nice. It is conveniently located downtown and is across from City Hall and the post office. It's very easy to walk to all the downtown restaurants. I highly recommend this rental and will stay here again if I come back to Geneva. The only downside of being downtown is the early morning noise of delivery trucks (Monday morning) restocking the restaurants on the street level of the building and the garbage trucks (Tuesday morning). The fire stations are also located behind the building that could potentially disturb your sleep as well.

Amazing Property!!!
The location was absolutely perfect....the coffee shop downstairs opened early and was able to accommodate us prior to heading out each day. Many bars and top notch restaurants within walking distance. The apartment was spacious, super clean and very comfortable.

Great location
Updated apartment with wonderful tall ceilings and plenty of room for a family. Large kitchen and family room area. Public parking area was just a half a block away with plenty of spots to choose from and walking distance to many restaurants.

6 very good days
This is a beautiful and conveniently located property. Okay, so it is close to 2 Fire stations. Not a problem and we even chatted with several firemen. Our only complaint which is hardly really an issue, was that we were told we would receive the address and other particulars the week of our arrival. Unfortunately, we were due to arrive shortly after a long holiday weekend and being elderly (but very young elders) we worried when we were leaving to go before we had received the information. To his credit, after an email from my wife, we had the necessary information and all was well. This place is about as perfect as a rental can be. There is a wonderful coffee shop next door and restaurants all within walking distance. My wife lived it because we never cooked a meal and had many ethnic choices from which to pick. We would go back in a heartbeat. One thing, parking can be an issue as there is no assigned space, but if you walk your dog every day at home, you can move your car just as easily!

Would stay again!
Great location, parking was easy, check in was easy, loved the little courtyard to sit outside, and property was clean. Only recommendation, we think the bathrooms need a little table to put cosmetic bags on. We would definitely book again!

Finger Lakes Weekend
First time to Finger Lakes. Lodgings we’re not ready at check in time because it had not been cleaned yet. Host stated he would give us a credit and did not. There is no dedicated parking. Have to park in a public lot about a block away. Location is in town, convenient, but above a restaurant.

Family Getaway to FLX
This apartment could not be better located. My wife and real daughters spent a few nights here while touring the wineries and suites of the Finger Lakes. This place is perfect for enjoying the train while have walkable access to soo much of the best Geneva has to offer. The place is roomy and very clean. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent, spacious apartment!
My bridesmaids and I booked this apartment for getting ready for my wedding. It was PERFECT. There were four of us and we had the perfect amount of space to get ready and relax together. The apartment is classy, clean, unique, and safe. We plan to try to come back again on our 1 year anniversary!

This was a very nice downtown condo. All the needed amenities. The directions were easy to follow. It was a perfect home base for our 5 minute drive to Hobart college. Can’t wait to stay again.

Perfect Location
I hate to give this such a good recommendation as this is a hidden gem. Without a doubt, I would stay here again. The location is great in Geneva. You are able to walk to many different restaurants and bars. The kitchen was wonderful, if you want to cook during your stay. I would recommend this location to anyone wanting to stay a couple nights in Geneva.

Great Downtown Apartment
Very nicely decorated apartment. Loved the brick. Close to restaurants, bars, etc. We came for a wedding but got the added bonus of being near Watkins Glen, so we added that to our itinerary. The elevator was a nice addition. Kitchen, living room, dining room areas were very spacious. Nice spot. Thanks!

Enjoy being part of the action in Geneva!
The hideaway is a beautiful 2 bedroom unit in a very convenient spot in Geneva —- easy walk to the Lake, restaurants, pubs, shops —- and just across from the post office in front and the firehouse in back…..the latter can get loud at night! Other than ongoing road construction, the property was perfect. Thank you!

Great Birthday Getaway
We celebrated my husband’s 50th birthday with another couple for a fabulous wine weekend. The rental was extremely clean and wonderfully updated while preserving the gorgeous historic character. It was a perfect location to experience all of the walkable local shops and restaurants as well as short drive to all the beautiful wineries and restaurants around the lake. We had a fantastic time and felt right at home.

Wonderful stay in Geneva
We had a fun weekend in Geneva for a family wedding. The property was very close to the lake, which is absolutely stunning and a very quick drive to many wineries and breweries. We enjoyed being able to easily walk to restaurants and a few breweries in town, and the property was very spacious. Wish we’d had more time in the Finger Lakes, and we hope to visit again.

Great, clean property with a lot of space. Only two negatives - they were repairing the street and started before 8:00 in the morning (temporary issue) and parking is a bit nerve racking. There is a small lot where we were able to successfully park. The municipal lot that is also recommended has signs restricting parking, but we were told by the owner and another person that the restrictions are not enforced. Still troubling to park there, but we never had to.

Geneva, NY - Castle Street 2 BR. RIGHT DOWNTOWN!!!!
September 2021. Our party included two couples visiting Geneva for a Labor Day Weekend wedding. The 2 bedroom downtown condo on Castle Street was BETTER than advertised. LOCATION - The location is great with breakfast, lunch and dinner options a few steps or a few blocks in every direction. There are plenty of shops and restaurants in Geneva to keep you busy. The state park is a short drive or a medium walk east along Seneca Lake. Recommendation: Water Street Cafe for breakfast. If you've never been to the Finger Lakes Region before... you are in for a treat. The condo is located conveniently to numerous wineries and the lakes are always beautiful. ACCOMODATIONS: The elevator made schlepping our suitcases upstairs a breeze. The key pad entry worked as designed. The living room and eat in kitchen are laid out nicely and served as inviting spaces to begin and end our days activities. The bedrooms were nice with comfortable beds and the neighborhood (downtown) and city are pretty quiet in general. We had no problem falling asleep each night. 5 STARS - We really enjoyed our stay. Geneva, NY is a great lake front small city. The Castle Street condo in Geneva is solidly on our short list of places to stay whenever we return to Upstate New York.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIC!
This property was by far the best VRBO rental we have experienced. The apartment was spacious, beautifully decorated, very clean, and fully equipped with about everything you would want in your own home. The hosts were very warm, informative, and responded immediately to my questions about the area and local area points of interest. It was evident to us that the hosts, Dave and Jason, were intent on providing their guests with the "Best of Class" accommodations and furnishings to make every stay a pleasant and memorable experience. I would highly recommend this apartment and location for anyone visiting Geneva or the surrounding Finger Lakes region.

Very nice stay in Geneva - terrific, spacious, clean and lovely apartment!
Easy access to local shops, Hobart and the waterfront. One of us was on crutches so the elevator was awesome!!! Only down side is that it is right next to the fire station and the early morning garbage truck routes! Hosts are in the building and very available. Apartment has everything you need for relaxing, cooking etc.

Beautiful apartment in a great location.
We live in a Victorian townhome in a downtown area, so this apartment had a great deal of appeal for us. The apartment was spotless and beautifully decorated. This was one of the nicest rentals we've had in our travels. So often you arrive in a place and it looks nothing like the photos. In this case the photos don't do it justice. The rugs and furnishings were beautiful and comfortable as were the beds. The apartment was well appointed. We brought so many things that we didn't need. The kitchen was well stocked and the linens were of high quality. The location offered easy walking access to Seneca Lake and restaurants. All of the major wineries and breweries were an easy drive. The apartment was remarkably quiet. The only small complaint is that the window blinds, though lovely did not keep out the bright sun at 6am. Otherwise, the sunny apartment was appreciated. We would stay here again.

Wonderful spot in Geneva
I came for a girls weekend with 4 other girls (5 of us total). We had a fantastic stay! The apartment was spacious and well appointed. Two of us stayed in the Queen sized room, 2 in the King sized room, and one slept on the pullout couch. We all slept well and felt the beds and pillows were comfortable. The pullout couch had some crumbs in the mattress (I mean it is a couch after all...who doesn’t have crumbs in their couch?!?), but that was really no big deal. The bathrooms were clean, and the kitchen was well appointed. The location of the condo was ideal. We could walk to lots of bars and restaurants and we took a lovely wine tour around Lake Geneva. We plan to return next Fall!

Best location! Best accommodations! Everything was as expected and more!
The apartment is huge, extremely clean, very well stocked and has everything you could need. The beds were great - super comfy! The location is excellent. All the stores, restaurants, bars, etc. are right at your door. Once you get to the apartment, you don't need a car to visit the breweries and bars in town. This was a great couples weekend away. Clean and well scrubbed. Felt safe and secure.
