Host was kind, prompt with responses to inquiries, and provided all of the information needed. The property was clean, beautifully appointed, comfortable, private, and very roomy (Emerald Suite). Only stayed one night due to personal schedule, but would have enjoyed a full week in quaint Geneva, IL. Lovely town. Lots to do and see. Highly recommend this property.

The property was exactly as described. Beautifully done second floor unit. The rooms are big and well appointed. The property is nice for the area. The check-in and check-out were great, very easy. Could easily stay much longer than the weekend we enjoyed.

You can tell the owners really care about their guests and their beautiful historic property. So much attention to detail and so many fun little extras, makeup wipes, extra hand towels. Music on in the room on arrival. Very serene and peaceful. Lovely decor and very comfortable beds. It really felt like home. The yard was gorgeous to look at in the morning. I was expecting a deer to run by. Very lovely. Coffee makers in several different places, even flavored syrups and creamer...amazing. Soap, body wash and shampoo. You couldn't ask for more. The Emerald Suite was so spacious we didn't even know there was a living room an outdoor patio and a full kitchen until we got there. We felt like royalty. Highly recommended and lovely hosts who were very responsive to any questions. Thanks so much for the hospitality! You truly have a lovely gem here. I would love to come back and be able to spend more time.

Best nights sleep

We loved staying in the Emerald Suite! We had to come down for an unexpected funeral, and Sydney and Marika were extremely accomidating and supportive during our stay.Not only were the rooms clean, cozy and well decorated-- but the bedding, pillows and mattress were SO NICE!! My mom, who rarely sleeps well, got up and said she slept great!! We attribute this to the cozy beds.Thanks again. We will be back.

Your place is lovely and exactly as listed. Wish it was longer then a night....but for the one night we stay it was so peaceful and relaxing. Really like the little touches with the chocolates and waffle maker. Only difference I would do is have one flavored coffee syrup not sugar free (only because I have an allergy to sugar free) or maybe some honey. Overall beautiful place thank you for sharing it with us would definitely stay again.

Our Getaway

We spent a few days in Geneva on our little getaway to celebrate our 36th anniversary. You couldn’t ask for a better place to stay along with the abundance of room we had on the second floor to ourselves. A very warm and comfortable atmosphere for total relaxation. Only a 2 to 3 minute drive to downtown Geneva and going to 3rd St.enjoying shopping, food and spirits with my wife. Then back to our Vrbo and enjoy. Couldn’t ask for any better service that we had. Outstanding communication and very, very friendly.

The most cozy and beautiful place to stay!

We had five adults in our group and had plenty of space both in our own rooms and in the common areas. Everything was so thoughtfully done and the space is beautifully decorated to honor the age of the home but blended with modern touches. The location is perfect for all things Geneva and St. Charles! Check in and out was super easy and all information pertaining to the house was provided in a well organized book upon entry, which answered any question we might have had. We really enjoyed our stay here and hope to return one day and would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway to Geneva.

While the photos are lovely on the app, the actual condo blew me away! Every room was special and had extra touches. The king size room was wow! I loved the sitting area and it had its own coffee maker which was a bonus. There are extra supplies in each bathroom in case you forgot something. The linens and towels were extra plush. The kitchen is well equipped and nothing was done in a cheap way. Everything was elegant. It was our 3rd annual girls trip with my daughter and daughter in law and we all loved it. I highly recommend.

Great stay!

It was wonderful thank you!! The only few comments I would say is to not have any of the wall air fresheners. They are toxic and make a person feel as if you are hiding a smell. Also my clothes all smell like the scent. Many are very sensitive to smells - the one you chose does not smell good. The water does not get hot very quickly and also not for very long. For the waffles- you should have all ingredients there for your customers if you are going to say that a waffle breakfast is included. Lastly the carpet in the stairs should be replaced - that is your first impression. Other

A real WOW!

A hidden gem. 1850's house but the inside is completely renovated and beautifully appointed. Wonderful little touches like labels on the drawers so you don't have to open 4 drawers to find the cutlery! A waffle-ready nook. The master bedroom is from a movie! Terrific location in Geneva. Amazingly responsive host. Five stars plus! A definite return.
