The property was large and clean and modern however, we were left disappointed due to quite a few issues:
- The TV had no signal and took about 30 mins of troubleshooting to get reception.
- All 3 outdoor lights were not working which meant the spa (which we paid more for the house to include) was unuseable at night, as too was the outdoor entertaining area.
-In-built outdoor speakers did not work.
-The AC was not working and the temperature inside only reached 16-17 degrees despite the display panel being used correctly. This resulted in guests having to wear beanies and thick jackets inside, not being able to sleep comfortably and four guests waking up with a cough/cold.
- One of the "bedrooms" had a sky-light that had no cover meaning a proper restful sleep could not be had.
-The rumpus room that is advertised as an additional sleeping area had a skylight above.
-No extra blankets were provided.
-No sugar or milk was provided despite a coffee machine being present.
-No tea-towels were provided.
-No tissues were provided.
-A camera at the rear door which is where the spa is located meant guests felt their privacy was affected as they had to walk in front of the camera in swimwear if using the spa.
We feel as though we did not receive appropriate value for the price paid given the issues mentioned above. Particularly the inability to use the spa safely or the outdoor area and the fact that the heating wasn't working in the middle of a Melbourne winter.
