Our pet was at ease during a storm. There is plenty of space to lay out and relax in front of the giant TV. The mini split unit had no issues keeping us warm.

Gearhart is a special area and this cozy cottage is in the heart of it. Short walk to the beach, shorter walk to town center. McMenamins is nearby on the golf course and the elk are often sited there. The home is clean and the kitchen well stocked. We had our dog with us and the fully fenced yard was a bonus.

This was our second time staying at this property, and it won't be our last! The huge, fenced yard is perfect for our two dogs, and this home's location in proximity to the beach, Seaside, and other area attractions such as Cannon Beach and Ecola State Park make it a wonderful choice for anyone looking to explore the area. We look forward to staying here again!

No preparation for power outages, known to the locals as likely this time of year. Prior to arrival wasnt aware this was something that could impact my stay here. No heat, minimal hot water, no ability to cook, everything ran on electricity and no backup or generator in the event of total power loss. Left my stay earliy as it was uncomfortable in the 50 degree interior. Communication with the property management was terrible amd they did nothing to compemsate this issue. Would not recommend this place or the management company to anyone.

House was great, good location, nice small house and private. Rented the house for the fenced in yard for my 2 year old grandson. The yard was full of dog poop and the sand pit had huge chunks of glass buried in the sand. Curtain over the slider had blood stains. The toilet in the main bathroom had flushing issues and the hot water knob on the bathtub is loose and falls off. Minor things except for the poop, blood stains and glass....those are just ridiculous!

The location, the price, the yard, everything about this house was everything we needed as a family. Dog could be in the yard, our son could enjoy his stay, and being so close to a beach. It was a weekend we will never forget.

This is a cute, well priced place to stay. Everything is very comfortable. Our dogs loved the fenced yard and we made full use of the well equipped kitchen. (We replaced the missing can opener and could have used a few cleaning supplies). The location worked so well as we enjoyed many of the fun things to do in Clatsop County and being able to enjoy walks around the village and on the beach. Parking was great. We’re already planning a return visit.

We enjoyed a weekend with the pups at our favorite beach in this lovely house. It was perfect for the two of us and our pups. It could have easily accommodated more people as well. The house was very clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the decor. It had everything we needed and the fenced yard was perfect for the pups. The location was on a quiet dead end street but close to everything. We are already looking forward to another stay here. Highly recommended!!

We love Gearhart and were happy to find a vacation rental property that is dog-friendly! Our pups loved the big fenced yard. This home sits on the Ridge Path which is lovely to explore, and is only a 5-10 minute walk to the beach. The wi-fi worked great, and we enjoyed watching our latest Netflix binge on the big screen tv. While essentials are provided, there are a few things I'll take next time: sharp kitchen knives, a functional cheese grater, fabric softener (a small supply of laundry detergent was provided), Kleenex (toilet tissue is provided), and a few Tupperware type of containers for use in the kitchen, and cotton sheets (personal preference over the cotton/poly blend sheets provided). There were 3 non-working flashlights which could have been a bummer in a power outage! Vacasa representatives were readily available via text for a few questions that came up. Yes, we would stay here again!
