Fun in the Sun

This home worked well with our extended family. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy. We enjoyed all the amenities including ping pong, corn hole, foosball, and hot tub! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was a great place to prepare and eat all while taking in the amazing peaceful view! We saw a bald eagle, a turkey vulture, a heron, bunnies, a deer and a coyote!!! We would definitely return!

Overall great experience

Had a wonderful stay, property was beautiful and spotless when we arrived. Easy to communicate with our hosts if we needed any assistance. Overall, it was an amazing experience and our kids (and us) loved the view of the ocean!

Perfect getaway

Gearhart is a small sleepy town on the coast but next to touristy Seaside if needed. The house is perfectly located on the estuary beach that feels almost private. House has everything you need for a family vacation on the beach. There are plenty of relaxing activities inside or outside. Very clean, and kitchen is well equipped. Hot tub is great and well maintained. Personal fire pit is equipped with firewood. Digging for clams or crabbing equipment is there as well. Kayaking at a high tide in the estuary was an added benefit.

Wonderful setting

Very comfortable home right on the estuary… loved walking down to the beach… lots of sand dollars… enjoyed the hot tub and cozy fireplaces… kitchen well stocked…we travelled with another couple and it was sure nice to have two king beds!

Great Northern Oregon location

We had a fantastic stay! The house was spacious and clean, cozy and comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were comfortable, the hot tub was amazing, While the location is not directly on the beach, it is a short walk to the beach, though we had to balance across washed-up logs to get to the sand (when the tide was out). The host was very responsive. The views were incredible and perfect space for families or groups of friends. Definitely would stay again.

Girls weekend

The house was very clean and well appointed. I chose it for location as well as the hot tub and the games though we didn’t end up using either. The views from the house are spectacular and we just had a lot of fun hanging out in the home. The kitchen has enough dishes and silverware and all the needed pots/pans to cook. The six of us could easily hang out together in the living room and eat together at the table which was a nuce perk.

Was ok. House not on ocean and does not have sunset views. House need maintenance on even basic items like windows which are required as their is no A/C. For the price, I expect and am used to much more.

Family Fishing Trip

Perfect Multi Generational Getaway!

My husband and I traveled to the coast with his parents, our two kids, nephew, and our golden retriever. This was the perfect property for us all to have a lot of fun! It was clean, spacious and had something fun for everyone! We are already looking at dates to plan our next stay!

Beautiful and quiet beach house

This home has a great location with a great view and feels very safe. Short drive to the beach or to town. It was very clean throughout. The kitchen is well stocked. Lots of beach activities provided which was a rare feature for a rental. I would recommend it for any large family or group.

Beach week

Fabulous location and amazing view from every window the moment you walk in the door! This house has everything you need and the setting couldn't be more private! We loved having a fire every night and having the beach within footsteps is a huge bonus!

Relaxing, quiet getaway

The house is located in a nice quiet neighborhood. Views are lovely from almost every room. We enjoyed playing ping pong and soaking in the hot tub. A few of us took the short drive to play a round of golf. Enjoyed seeing the local eagles and other wildlife.

Gearhart Family Vacation

Property is as described in the Vrbo write up. At low tide you can actually walk out to the ocean. Close to Cannon Beach and Seaside for restaurants, pubs, etc. Enjoyed our stay very much. Didn't use the fire pit or the kayaks but we enjpyed the hot tub and Ping pong! Even saw a group of Elk one night! Lovely.

Magical Oasis

A Retreat for the Soul!

This house literally had all you ask for and then some. We had a girls' weekend here and had plenty of room to spread out. The place was so clean with so many cute touches including artfully arranging the tissue in its boxes. Everyone agreed the beds and linens were the most comfortable they have come across in a rental. We enjoyed how private it was, eating dinner on the top deck while taking advantage of the breathtaking views, taking a hot tub and making a fire in the fire pit. Wood is even included and they had plenty on the side of the house. The gas fireplaces in the kitchen and living room were also a plus. The beach was very private as well. We only saw a few people here and there with their dogs. Explicit directions and suggestions were left in the house which were so good to have at our fingertips. Just a half mile from downtown Gearhart, we had a fabulous brunch at Pacific Way Cafe. The coffee shop was great along with A Great Gallery next door. I can't wait to go back and spend more time. We only had two nights and we took full advantage, but I would recommend at least three nights. It's also just a couple of miles from Seaside with even more restaurants and a major grocery store.

This is the best rental in Gearhart!

Our third stay here - it never disappoints. The location can’t be beat. Fabulous views from the windows and decks. To be able to stroll out to the beach so easily is such a luxury. Whether you walk along the sand or through the dunes filled with grasses and wildflowers, it’s a delight. We were here with our teenagers and my sister-in-law’s family- 8 in total and we had plenty of space to ourselves and to come together for meals, puzzles and games. Roasting s’mores around the fire pit in the quiet of the night was a highlight. We’ll definitely be back. Clean, comfortable and well equipped. Highly recommend.
