I’m going to be 100% honest, I did not like having to fill out all our names, ages and cars and everything before checking in. Also the host texted me probably 5 times before asking my ETA? Like why? It annoyed me. Than asked to let them know if I check out early so the cleaners could get in early? No i have til 11am. Also the house needs some updating the second bathroom is not nice at all, in order to look into the mirror you have to have your legs touching the side of the toilet. Also the shower looks like a pop-up one just randomly placed in the bathroom. We loved the outside & the short walk to the beach but for the price I think we’d not come back.

Very clean house. A short walk to the beach. Excellent communication with the host. Loved all the amenities kids played ping pong and used the hot tub everyday. Close to fishing and crabbing.

Spotless, pleasant property! Our family of six had a very relaxing, fun weekend stay. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, the hot tub and beautiful backyard were lovely. Walking to Little Beach or the ocean was easy and nearby. We appreciated the beach chairs, ping pong and foosball tables. Loved that there were extra towels, new kitchen towels, fresh sponges and soaps for everything. We will definitely return as all communication and check-in/out was so easy!

The property was super clean and well tended. The outdoor deck was large and so nice for having a group BBQ. The hot tub and fire pit looked great. During our short 2 night stay, it was stormy, cool, windy and limited our use of those amenities. We did make a hike to the estuary beach, which is very close and found it would be wonderful for sandcastle making. The ocean beach was a slightly longer (but not long) walk. It was huge, gorgeous and due to the weather, deserted except for some folks clamming (I think they had a lot of luck). We found several unbroken, beautiful sand dollars before we headed back to use the lovely washer/dryer to clean up our soaked trousers. The dining room/family area was inviting and encouraged game nights and relaxation. The saving grace for our windy, rainy stay were two things: 1) our wonderful hosts, who were ever-ready with suggestions of where to go, to eat, what to do when we went to Astoria 2) the garage filled with foos ball and ping pong. A great way to spend indoor time. The kitchen & bathrooms have not been updated for a while, but they were clean and very functional. I would rent this VRBO again.

The outdoor setting and amenities were great. The kitchen and bathrooms need to be updated for 800 a night. The interior layout is great for a family. Wouldn’t rent again at this price. Overall nice property at the right price.

Great place for families!

We went here on a family vacation and had a great time. We liked the layout of the rooms so the kids could have their own “wing.” Nice big backyard to play in and super close to the beach.

A Gem Close to Beach

Spacious, very clean property tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Lovely walk to the beach but would not be good for anyone who has mobility issues. House was very comfortable, nice setup with 2 bedrooms on either side of the house. Kitchen had ample dishes and cookware. Very nice extensive deck and fenced in yard, which was nice for the dog. We would stay here again.

Sibling reunion

We were a group of 5 siblings who were able to fit comfortably in this house. We went out to seaside and cannon beach but honestly we couldn’t wait to get back to the home. It was so cozy and clean with plenty of space for us all. We were able to cook multiple meals with the plenty of pot and pans and utensils. We could not have asked for a better place to stay.

Oregon coast getaway

My family and I had such a fantastic time. The house was comfortable, clean and the owners were thoughtful in all of the amenities provided. A short walk to the estuary and beach. The hot tub was lovely and the kids loved the ping pong and foosball.Seaside was a quick drive away with plenty of restaurants and additional activities. We'll be back!

Our Stay

We stayed 2 nights for a family event. We didn't get to use all of the amenities this place had to offer but what we did use was very clean and well taken care of. Would rent again!

Great location and property itself in terms of outdoor space was great. We got lucky with weather mostly. Kitchen could use some updating and more non-stick pans please for ease of clean-up. King primary bedroom, the mattress is failing on the immediate side you walk into, so had to use extra bed to be able have all sleep well. We are adults and don't need constant texts/email reminders of rules that I agreed to upon booking this house. Overall a nice place and we had a great time. Thank you.

Even better than expected!

Beautiful property within walking distance of the beach and river, very comfortable setup and everything was very clean and nicely presented. This was our 4th time staying in the Seaside/ Canon Beach area and this has been our favourite property!! Thank you!

Comfortable Family Stay

We had a pleasant stay at the hosts’ home. We enjoyed walking out to the beach along the bay and the neighborhood was quiet and friendly. The home was clean and comfortable. We didn’t use a lot of the amenities but were impressed with everything offered.

Good basic beach house rental for group or family

Close to beach access path. Nice to have wagon and beach chairs in garage. Mobility impaired people will have difficulty with walk to beach Signs at property about noise and quiet hours but next door neighbors had barking dog and music that could be heard at bedtime from the bedroom on a Monday night. Construction noise in neighborhood during the day. Otherwise quiet dead end street 4 bedrooms. King bedroom has bed with metal frame that Squeaked and bounced when one partner sat on edge of bed or got out of bed 2 bathrooms. Both quite Small Lots of towels which was nice. Good washer and dryer with laundry soap Nice hot tub in back yard We didn’t use bikes in garage Dishwasher didn’t always finish cycle and clean properly but we let management know Lots of kitchen supplies available No rugs or carpet so bring slippers. Maybe cleaner that way but not very cozy

Highly recommend

We had a great girls weekend at this house. It was well set up and very clean. The neighborhood is beautiful and a great place to walk. A lot of restaurants and shops are a very quick drive away.

Great family vacay spot!

My daughter and grands had a fabulous stay! We loved the location with an peasy stroll to the beach, the hot tub, and all the options for games and puzzles. We really couldn’t have dreamed up a better end of summer getaway

Perfect Weekend!

The location was great, just steps away from the beach. We were able to catch a perfect sunset. The bbq grill came in handy and the hot tub plus the fire pit was perfect for the weekend. We will definitely consider coming back to this house next time we come to the coast.
