Kassuba Lake hideaway

Relaxing cottage close to everything with the feeling of being secluded in the snowy woods. Every possible amenity was provided for by generous hosts.

Girls trip

We were traveling for the weekend for mini girls trip. The cottage is cozy and secluded. We loved the hot tub and taking a walk around the lake. It was a very peaceful place to spend some quality time.

Cute cottage on quiet lake

We throughly enjoyed our weekend! The home had everything we needed including a beautiful view of the lake. We were close enough to things to do then retreated back to the perfect place to relax.

Retreat on the Lake

We loved our stay. It was the perfect retreat during the Thanksgiving Holiday. The Cottage is cozy, comfortable, and very well-equipped. From the welcome goodies, coffee and tea bar, heated floors, comfy beds, lots and lots of linens, fully equipped kitchen, the awesome hot tub, to the ever-changing views out over the lake. Thanks to the Hosts for making our holiday so perfect.

Perfect getaway

Our stay in early August was perfect! The cabin is exactly like the listing pictures, and well stocked with everything you might need. We really enjoyed boating/ kayaking on the lake and the private hot tub. The area is secluded and quiet while still close to town.

On Point and on the lake!!

The home is wonderful and the Lake was beautiful. Every detail of the home was on point. Very clean and properly maintained home. Great location. Very friendly and attentive owner. We will definitely be staying here agian.

Amazing cabin

The property was wonderful! Very clean and well stocked. The cabin exceeded our expectations in every way. The property was just perfect, from the comfortable beds, beautiful view to the heated floor. We were impressed with our entire stay. The hot tub was definitely an added bonus. We would absolutely love to stay again.

Charming and Peaceful

Quiet Location

I can’t say enough about the cottage. It is perfect in every way.. every detail was well thought out. We loved the hot tub.. and both decks.. and the fire pit! This cottage has everything you could possibly need or want. We were sad to leave.. but definitely will return!

Relaxing Retreat

We had a relaxing weekend with friends and our young children. We all enjoyed the lake, especially the use of the kayaks and pedal boat. The house was clean, comfortable and as advertised. There were also thoughtful conveniences such as plenty of towels, a great selection of kitchen items for cooking, a grill and plenty of outdoor seating for eating and relaxing. We had a great time!

All perfect and plenty of supplies

This property was fully stocked with everything from spices, oils, towels, toilet paper, coffee pods, coffee filters, foil/plastic wrap, zip locks, etc...you name it, they had it in abundance! Vert well appointed and not a detail missed. Awesome location. Will definitely book again!!

Storybook setting

The setting of the cottage was unique. The neighborhood around the lake was quiet and small, almost silent. The cottage was clean, cozy and fit the 4 of us very well. Mark and Heather provided everything we could've needed. Our favorite part was the big window upstairs that overlooked the lake and the wrap around porch. We look forward to going back!

Amazing Ski House!

I was looking for a great ski cabin near Otsego and this is it! The place is just 5 minutes from Otsego and is tucked into a great little private lake community. The house is updated and very charming. The hot tub is the perfect way to end a day on the slopes. And the sloped back yard to the frozen lake made for an awesome sledding hill for the kids to play on while we made meals and relaxed. We enjoyed every minute of our stay here. Perfect for a single family, one or two couples or just yourself. Can't wait to get back here next season.

Great cottage stay

Our intent was to golf 2 days in the area while staying at this cottage. We only got one day of golf in due to weather. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay while being rained out of our golf round. Very cozy with all the efficiencies of home. Wonderful stay on Kassuba Lake!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the cottage! My husband along with our 10 year old daughter and 4 year old son loved the trip. We went skiing at Otsego and enjoyed dining out in Gaylord and at the cottage. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and we had absolutely everything that we needed for our stay. The heated floors were exceptionally well liked for December. I was impressed by the amount of towels and the nice touch of the robes for the hot tub. Mark even stopped by to treat the hot tub while we were out. You can tell he takes great pride in his property. We will definitely be booking again!

Pure Michigan lake weekend

We stayed 4 nights over the 4th of July and had the best time at this centrally located northern Mich cabin. We had 3 kids under 5 and found the cabin to have everything needed for both the kiddos and adults. The lake was quiet, yet active and we used the paddle boat, row boat and kayaks. We enjoyed the fire pit, lower deck with fire table, hot tub and the large back porch for meals. The home itself had everything we needed for a comfortable home away from home, including things you don't think to pack, but need. Mark & Heather were great with communication and even gave us a heads up about the lake fireworks. We were only an hour from the Mackinac Island ferry, so were able to go for the day, bike the island and be back at the cabin for dinner. We would love to return!

A Great Place for a reset

The owners did an excellent job communicating. The property was clean and the area was peaceful. We spent 3 nights and enjoyed the hot tub. Everything we needed was available. We are definitely considering taking our children back in the summer.
