Nice place but could use a little tlc.. clean but could use some updates. The kitchen wasn’t really furnished just coffee cream and spices. Was hard to manage the heat so was either hot hot or cold. The biggest thing for us was the drive not being cleared of all the snow. Was afraid to walk outside because of all the ice. Never did find the pool and hot tub usually there’s a book telling you what’s around. The TV kept going and the internet was slow…over all not a bad place probably nicer in the summer

We had a great experience. Beautiful house in a beautiful location. We had 8 people (3 adults, 5 kids) and had plenty of room. Finished basement a big plus. Host was very friendly and very responsive to our inquires. 100% recommend.

Cozy and clean home, kitchen stocked, plenty of linens, comfortable beds, large TVs, and a great space downstairs. We weren't able to enjoy all of the amenities because of a wintery stay, but looked to be a great place to enjoy sitting on the deck or around a nice fire in better conditions. Had a crazy snow storm during our stay and the host made sure the driveway was plowed.

Disappointing Stay

The property is set in a beautiful location, the furniture and decorations are lovely, and the shower is strong but unfortunately the property is not well maintained. Upon entering the property, we began to put away our food for the weekend and as we opened a cupboard in the kitchen, the door came off the hinge almost hitting my friend in the face. Then we discovered another cupboard in the same condition and a dishwasher that is not installed properly. The heating in the house is difficult to control and the basement gas stove would not turn off. When we arrived, it was 81 degrees in the basement. The owner sent someone to look at the heating and the only remedy was for us to manually turn on and off the heat source every few hours to avoid overheating the room. The other reviews said the kitchen was well stocked but as cooks we found it lacking basic essentials such as foil or parchment paper and it also needs more wine glasses, silverware, and larger bowls. Finally, water from snow on the roof began cascading down an interior wall in the kitchen. We notified the owner and spent the weekend changing out towels from the bathrooms to capture all the water. There are many other smaller issues with the house that could be easily fixed. I was really hoping for a relaxing weekend get away with my friends but instead, I spent the weekend dealing with house issues. I was in constant communication with the owner, and he did answer my texts, but no discount was offered on our stay.

Winter Retreat

Nice Property nestled away in Michaywe just a short skip from downtown. Perfect place for our group to unwind after a day on the slopes. Loved the basement Foosball and arcade. Definately wantvto come back for some summer golf.

Perfect for a weekend getaway with friends!

Very clean and plenty of room for the 6 of us. It’s in wonderful community and only a few minutes to skiing and the lake! The property manager was very easy to communicate with there is access to the clubhouse pool and restaurant too. . Would stay here again!

Nice hideaway in the woods

We are a group of eight middle-aged, long-term friends who get together to golf one long weekend each summer, picking a different location every time. This time, we wanted to play in Gaylord, and so we picked this chalet. The house is nice, plenty of room for eight adult males. One thing to be aware of, though, is that two of the twin beds are actually trundle beds, hidden under the other twin beds. Our guys sucked it up, but usually the guys don't like sleeping that close to each other. The deck is nice, the area is quiet and full of deer, and the house is spacious. We enjoyed our time there and hope we can return someday!

Family weekend

We planned a family weekend to enjoy skiing with our extended family. The location was wonderful for our family, and we enjoyed our weekend together. It is well appointed, very clean, comfortable and peaceful. Erfan, is very gracious, and responds quickly to all communications. We look forward to staying here again next year.

Great Stay

Nice house in a beautiful neighborhood. Host was quick with replies to any questions we had. A suggestion though, it would be nice to have a couple boxes of kleenex in each bathroom and perhaps some saranwrap or aluminum foil.

Family Christmas (in a blizzard)

The house was wonderful! Of course, we had to have a family Christmas as a blizzard was going through. The caretakers kept the driveway cleared for us throughout the storm. The kids loved sledding down the hill and the adults liked that the kids could be sent to the basement to play. The house was clean and well cared for. The garage was a blessing with the storm. Lovely neighborhood and great view from any window! Loved it!
