An excellent place to spend a holiday
We spent a week in this house with the family over Easter and apart from the weather everything was perfect. The accommodation and location were beautiful, just as you would imagine from the photos and other comments. Roman and Arina, who manage everything on site, were incredibly nice and helpful.

Really Enjoyable Family Holiday!
From booking, through to arrival and then our stay, everything was completed with efficiency and ease. I would like to make a special mention of Roman who looked after us during our stay! We had a few few hiccups whilst on holiday and Roman went over and above his remit in giving advice and making sure we were happy, thank you! The house itself was well worth it's 5 stars, attractively decorated with a lovely Spanish feel with plenty of useful items in the kitchen for those who like to cook. Although the house is not air conditioned (which doesn't bother us), there were plenty of fans available for those warmer nights. The owners had left lots of interesting reading material about Gaucin and the local area which was useful and there were also books to read and games a plenty. We all loved the swimming pool which was very welcome as the temperature gauge continued to soar and although we had to share with the neighbours it was never a problem. Gaucin itself is a beautiful little town with lots of things to explore and many restaurants to eat out. Our favourite evening was spent at La Fructosa, just up the road, where on a Wednesday eve there was live music and a 5 course tapas set meal. Slightly more expensive than others available but well worth it for a special evening. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Mirador and hope to visit Gaucin again in the future.

Magical
This was our second visit to this comfortable house in the beautiful village of Gaucin, and it did not disappoint. The location is perfect for a stroll into the village for food, drinks or shopping, the scenery is stunning and there are lots of lovely walks nearby which are listed in a book in the house. The property managers were extremely helpful. There was something of a heatwave during our stay, and as the house has no air conditioning, we were grateful of the extra fans supplied at our request. The village was quieter than during out last stay in 2019 - perhaps an impact of the pandemic - and cafes seem to open more sporadically, but there was always somewhere open to eat or drink. The shared pool is perfect for cooling off after enjoying the sun on the private terrace. This is a magical place for a holiday with family and friends.

Perfect location for family and friends holiday
We had a week in Gaucin to celebrate a 50th birthday. We had both houses that very comfortably accommodated 12 adults. The house was exceptionally well equipped and beautifully presented with incredible views. The location of the property is perfect for access to a range of fantastic places to eat and beautiful walks. Roman could not have been more communicative and helpful during our stay. Thank you for a wonderful week

Gaucin
This charming nest is in Gaucin, a lovely well located village from which it is easy to visit the Pueblos Blancos, the coast, and the Rock of Gibraltar. There are several quite nice restaurants, and good walks. We especially loved the view from the sitting room and patio of the villa. Roman and Irene were very kind and helpful hosts.

Es war phantastisch. Das Objekt liegt herrlich im andalusischen Hinterland mit einem unglaublichen Blick Richtung Gibraltar. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet, sauber. Der Pool war super, auch das Teilen mit den Nachbarn war unproblematisch. Roman und Arina waren tolle Ansprechpartner, haben uns Tipps und Empfehlungen gegeben. Gerne wieder!!!

Fantastisch huis met weergaloos mooi uitzicht
Wij hebben een geweldige vakantieweek gehad in Gaucin, het huis is prachtig, van alle gemak en comfort voorzien. Lekker restaurant om de hoek, prachtig kasteel met uitzicht op loopafstand. Helemaal top!

3rd time in Gaucín
We returned as a family to Gaucín for the third time. Our experience at Casa Mirador was one of our most memorable times made especially great by Roman and his wife who took care of our every need. Views from the property are breathtaking, the photos on the site do not do it justice.

Gaucin Hiking Vacation
We booked the house for a hiking vacation in Gaucin. Everything was available in the house for a pleasant stay. A special luxury was the pool. If you like the village life in Andalusia, you are in good hands here,

Great location and property
We had a great stay. The views are magnificent. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped. Sharing the pool was fine too. Gaucin was quieter than in previous years - no doubt due to Covid but there were still enough restaurants and bars open. Excellent value for money.

. Gaucín, Dorfhaus.
Schönes Haus am Rand von Gaucín. Man kann von hier aus alles zu Fuß erreichen. Das Haus hat drei Etagen. Die Terrasse am Pool läd nicht zum langen bleiben ein, aber der Pool ist gut.

Lovely house in perfect setting
We loved this house. It's well equipped and comfortable. The views are stunning. The pool is shared, but that was never a problem. Some comfier sun loungers would be a nice addition. The village is beautiful. We love the restaurants too, especially Platero. The little shop behind the bank has excellent bread.

Fantastic house, fantastic location
This is a lovely, comfortable house, with every amenity in one of the most gorgeous villages in the area. The house, over three floors with the spacious living / kitchen / dining area on the top floor, and three bedrooms and two bathrooms on the floors below, has the most wonderful uninterrupted views all the way to Africa. In the morning we woke to the sound of sheep / goat bells and the crickets chirped happily all day. The narrow street outside is extremely quiet, and the swimming pool is bigger than we imagined - swim 125 lengths and you will have done a kilometre! Supermarkets, restaurants (both simple and upmarket - all excellent food and value), craft shops and more are just a stroll away, and there are a number of national parks to visit by car. There are numerous walks along the mountain and forest tracks - an excellent book at the property gives good directions for each hike. A birdwatcher's paradise, the circling Griffin Vultures are a sight to behold. Rhonda, Gibraltar, Selwo Adventure, sandy beaches and Tariffa (very successful whale watching) are all within an easy drive. Any queries we had about the house during our three weeks were answered immediately by the owner or property manager. There are a lot of steps within the property, and some challenging hills in the village. Casa Mirador really was a home from home - with sunshine, views and so much more besides. I definitely plan to return.
