Our Family of 5 spent the week here after Christmas for New Years. We have 3 boys and 2 of them are older teenagers and they loved that they both had their own rooms and bathrooms. We loved the fully stocked Kitchen so I was able to make most meals at the Cabin. We had an amazing view and even was able to see the ball drop in Gatlinburg Downtown from the comfort of our Balcony. My older boys enjoyed playing pool against each other. Even got the utilize the hot tub once or twice. If we make it back to Gatlinburg soon, well definitely be staying here. The location was also perfect for being able to do everything around town and in Pigeon Forge.

We enjoyed our stay - the views from the decks were amazing, and we got to see bears (on our to-do list). Bedrooms were comfortable and well-appointed; overall, we'd recommend it to anyone wanting a unique experience of the Gatlinburg area.

Amazing views! We loved the well supplied kitchen - the best equipped we have encountered in almost 15 years of staying in Black Bear Falls properties. We would have liked to have access to a couple of microwave safe plates as this made using leftovers challenging. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful cabin in a great location. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Great views of the mountains, and saw some bears from a distance. Lynn was wonderful at checking on us after arriving to make sure if we needed anything.

Beautiful Views

Great location, minutes to downtown Gatlinburg and entrance to the Smokies! Amazing views! Even when it rained, you could still enjoy the deck, the back deck was fully covered. We enjoyed our stay.

Gatlinburg Getaway

We enjoyed our stay. Our older boys enjoyed having their own master bedroom for privacy. We enjoyed watching a movie together every night on our vacation( older boys are in college so we have not been able to do this since the pandemic). I enjoyed having coffee and reading on the porch every morning. We had a breath taking view from the porch. We enjoyed the pool to cool off. Lynn was very helpful and easy to get a hold of. Thank you Lynn for sharing your cabin with us.

Perfect

The view was beautiful! The location was perfect. It was very easy to get to downtown Gatlinburg. The grocery store was close and so was Mad Dog’s Creamery and Donuts. Pigeon Forge was also easy to get to. The accommodations were just what we needed for our family. The pool was a big hit with the grandchildren.

Summer in GSMNP

The cabin was beautiful, with a nice view from the deck. The kitchen had everything you could want and our teenage kids loved having their own bedroom and bathroom. We enjoyed playing pool and shuffleboard on the bottom floor, and relaxing at the community pool. We hope to stay here again.

Tennesse Mountain Cabin

The cabin was perfect for our family. It was close to Gatlinburg, Smoky Mountains and family activities. It was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Also had a nice porch with rocking chairs. Will return again.

Great cabin with wonderful views!

The cabin was perfect for our family's three couples, having a master suite on all three levels. Great deck for viewing mountains and nature and also close to so many things to do in Gatlinburg and the surrounding area. Will consider staying here again!

We had a great time at the cabin. It was very close to everything we wanted to do. We visited the Gatlinburg area, Pigeon Forge and the Park. The house was super clean, very accommodating and very easy. Beds were comfy too!

Perfect family getaway

High Mountain Lodge was the perfect place for a short family getaway with my parents to meet up with our son, who was on spring break. We have been to Gatlinburg many times, and this was one of our best stays. The cabin has stunning views, both day and night, and the location is perfect, away from the crowds yet close to everything. We enjoyed both the fireplace and the hot tub. We didn't do a lot of cooking, but the kitchen was well-equipped with everything needed to prepare meals. The house was very clean, with nice linens and clean and comfortable furniture and beds. Would have loved to have more time to enjoy the pool table and shuffleboard in the lower level. The only thing not perfect was the weather...we had a crazy wind storm that caused a (thankfully short) power outage and brought a tree down in the road below us, which was cleaned up quickly by maintenance. Our hosts were great at communicating check-in instructions and suggestions for local attractions and restaurants, as well as checking on us when the power was out. Thank you to our hosts for a wonderful stay! We hope to return soon!

Gatlinburg Get Away (Family and Friends)

The cabin and the property were awesome. It was a very cozy cabin. We enjoyed family time playing pool and sitting in the hot tub. I would certainly recommend this cabin to anyone wanting a quick getaway in the mountain. The owners were awesome as they checked on how everything was and if there was anything that we needed.I will say that the hot tub jets were not working properly when we got in. Otherwise everything was great.
