Communication with the host was excellent. He even messaged to let us know we could get in early on arrival. The views from this home are beautiful. The house accommodated 2 families with teens very well.

The house was the highlight of our stay with its amazing smoky Mountain View’s. Our group of nine had ample space to enjoy each others company in this spacious house. The game room and hot tub kept everyone entertained on bad weather days. Sighting of mama bear and cubs was exciting. Drive to property is narrow and steep mountain roads. Enter driveway prior to house makes parking easily acceptable. The owner was very receptive and quick to respond. Thank you for a beautiful stay.

We had a really great stay overall and truly appreciated how responsive and accommodating the host was. They answered all of our questions quickly, were incredibly friendly, and even allowed us a late checkout at no additional charge, which made a HUGE difference for our family. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the bedding was clean and soft. The cabin is very family friendly, with a wide variety of toys and games for all ages. I was especially happy to see baby toys available for my one year old, though most needed new batteries. The streaming services worked perfectly, and the hot tub was nice and relaxing.There were a few maintenance and stocking issues that could use improvement. Several light bulbs needed replacing, so only one porch light on the back deck was working and just one set of string lights turned on. The kitchen was missing some small appliances and cooking utensils, and the can opener didn’t work well. The dishwasher didn't clean the dishes well and there were some dirty dishes in the cabinet. The baby gate provided is too small to fully block the stairs. Two toilet seats were loose on their hinges, and the toilet paper holder in one bathroom kept falling off the wall. The stove and floors were a little dirty upon arrival. A few remotes needed fresh batteries, the checkers set was missing pieces, and we weren’t able to get the fireplace to turn on. The couches are also showing wear need replacing soon. Overall it's a nice cabin, just needs some TLC.

We rented this house but we didn't stay in it. As we were on our way the host called us to tell us there was an issue with the kitchen. He ended up letting us stay at a different house which was actually an upgrade. It was called Luxury LongView Lodge: Sleeps 20. So my review would be on that house: The view was great, the house was amazing, the location is perfect if you're going to visit Ober Mountain. It's about a 10 min drive to the actual city if you need to go grab a few things. Communication with the host was great.

Stove took forever to heat up. Toilet paper roll in upstairs bathroom broken. Outlets in rooms did not work. Romotes for TVs did not work. Outside lights did not work. Pourch light at hot tub did not work. Total hot tub lights were out. Only had lights from game room to use for outside. Furniture was very worn. Plastic covers on mattress were torn and need to be replace. House was beautiful but was not fully functional.

This cabin was absolutely stunning – from the cozy interior to the breathtaking views! It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a fully stocked kitchen, pack ’n play, and high chair (a lifesaver for our little grandson). For the adult stuff ,it had a hot tub and corn-hole boards. The cleanliness was impeccable, making it feel like a true home away from home. The location was ideal – close enough to explore both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge but tucked away for peace and quiet. And the highlight? Bear sightings every night! We loved watching them visit the property (safely, of course). We’re already planning our next trip back – this cabin is a gem ! Highly recommend.

You will see bears

Great location. The deck off the kitchen was wonderful. Lots of room for kids to play. Enjoyed the hot tub. If you are planning on cooking, you will need to bring your own pots and pans.

Beautiful view, just needs a refresher

We liked the location and the view was amazing. The upstairs was very nice and accommodating. The downstairs could really use some attention. There were holes in the walls, lipstick smeared on the wall in the bathroom, one of the games was broken (the whole reason we chose this property)… I feel this should have been communicated, prior to our stay. I get that it is turn and burn, but the floors were so dirty (and we watched the housekeeper mop as we pulled up) that all of our socks were black within 10 mins!!!! The mattresses could use an update, we all had sore backs. The hot tub was turned too low and we had to wait until our second night to be able to use it. The dining chairs were soooo wobbly. Overall, it served our needs, but we would not stay here again.

What A Great Getaway

Chalet is beautiful, up-to-date and perfect for our family getaway. Plenty of space to spread out but also feel intimate. Kids loved the game room and we all enjoyed the hot tub. If I have any critique at all it’s that there are no hooks or bars to hang wet towels in the top level bathroom.
