Great place!

This place is great! Communication with the property manager was simple and quick. The description is a bit is a bit misleading as it says eagles perch is the highest cabin. That is true, they are the highest in that driveway. But there are numerous cabins higher and in your view from your balcony. That being said the place was absolutely clean and perfect for our week in the area. Communication with the manager was quick and helpful. We would absolutely rent again with the fact that knowing that the pictures make it look like you have this uninterrupted view of no houses or anything else and that simply isn’t true. But again, the cabin and view is still amazing. I just wanted to leave an honest review that gave a little understanding that the pictures don’t necessarily accurately portray the view.

Wonderful time!

We stayed here during spring break. When the towns and activities were busy, the cabin provided us with plenty of activities and space for our 2 families to spend time together. Plenty of space for us to be together or to spread out. Kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, silverware, utensils so cooking was easy. Everything was exactly how it was described (including the parking up the hill, if you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle, be sure to bring that one!). The owners were extremely communicative. Would return!

Great cabin

Cabin is just as described on the listing. All the amenities within work well. The views are breath-taking. As described the very last hill to get to the cabin is super steep. Our minivan made it 2/3 times. The last day it rained and that was enough to keep the minivan from getting up the hill. Our friends have 4x4 cars and those made it without issues. Owner is great at communicating and the check in process is a breeze. He has a camera looking at the porch which made us feel secure.

Wonderful log cabin with stunning view of the Smoky Mountains

- We loved the location of the cabin situated at the very summit of a hill, resulting in an amazing view of the smoky mountains from all three levels of the property. - All photos represented accurately the property, which was very clean and functional. - The property owner was extremely responsive in addressing our few needs, and very detailed information was provided ahead of time, e.g. how steep was the road to access the cabin, and where to park. - A lot of amenities are included in the property, e.g. hot tub with view of the smoky mountains, pool table, foosball table, and Arcade game. - All in all it was an outstanding smoky mountain experience for my family.

Wonderful Cabin

After a long drive, we were so happy to come in to an extremely clean cabin. Perfect set up for 2 families to share together. Plenty of fun activities for the kids to play in the basement. Only downside is trying to get up and park at the very top. Once you figure it out though, you’ll be good to go for the rest of your trip. Just intimidating at first.

Cabin was beautiful! Scenery and views were perfect! Just far enough off the main roads to keep it quiet but still had convenient access. Owner replied quickly to all messages. The driveway was quite steep but we made it fine. Would stay here again!

4-wheel drive recommended

The driveway is VERY steep. Even with perfect weather (no rain or snow/ice) that incline is too much for most vehicles and parking at the cabin is very limited. However, the cabin was very nice! My family and I enjoyed cooking breakfast in the kitchen, sitting around the fireplace and playing games in the game room. Overall, it was a great stay!

Enjoyable stay!

The house has everything that you need . We enjoyed the hot tub and the very quiet , peaceful area. It was easy to find with the given directions. The house was simply but very nicely decorated. Wonderful Property

The Suns were amazing hosts. They were super responsive when we needed anything. Not a bad thing but just a warning (which the Suns give in their property description) the driveway is steep. We look forward to our next trip and will stay with the Suns if they will have us.

Eagles Perch

We had an amazing weeklong stay at Eagles Perch. The house easily fit our party of 11 and we were very pleased with all the amenities. I was especially pleased the towels and linens were included as this is usually not the case. The owner Steve was very easy to contact and responded very quickly. I am very grateful to him for allowing my granddaughter to take the bear that she fell in love with. Go to Eagles Perch you will not be sorry. Plus the views from the top decks are amazing

Large Family Getaway

Perfect for a large family of seven adults and three kids. We had a great time at this cabin. It’s close enough to everything but far enough up to get great views. I was a bit nervous that it wouldn’t feel secluded enough given the proximity to other cabins, but it was never an issue; almost as if we were alone. Overall, this was a great cabin to rent.

Fantastic place away from the hustle and bustle

We loved our stay. We had 4 adults and 4 kids (3-10 in age). The house was very well kept and clean. The beds were comfortable and the game room made for a great place to spend some time in the afternoons. our kids loved the arcade machine and enjoyed some throw back golden tee and NBA Jam. We had an issue with the downstairs AC unit. The drain clogged and shut off the machine. We were worried we’d have to sleep in the hot basement overnight, but the property owner quickly responded to us and had a technician onsite within 2 hours. We have rented several places and this was by far the quickest and most responsive a property owner has been. Rest assured, if you have an issue they’ll take care of it. The road leading up to the cabin can be intimidating. Take a breath and be prepared for a pretty steep grade. We had a full-size SUV and didn’t have any problems going up or down, even in heavy rain. I’d highly recommend the cabin for someone that wants to be away from the heavy traffic and craziness of gatlinburg/pigeon forge. We loved our time here and will return.

Great value & location

We flew in to visit family in TN and decided we would all go to Pigeon Forge for a couple of days. We researched accommodations 100 days prior to the trip and found this gem. The location was perfect for where we had planned to visit (Dollywood, The Island, Dixie Stampede, Gatlinburg). Steven provided great directions because GPS might take you to a different driveway if you don't read the cabin # signs. The space was perfect for 3 couples and 3 children. The other cabins were close in distance and we found it difficult to hear each other one night while hanging out on the deck/hot tub due to louder groups nearby, but we still had fun. We had 3 vehicles and managed okay with the driveway and parking area, but we had to communicate with our neighbors whose parking would often block us or make it difficult to arrive/leave. The place is furnished well, especially if you want to cook meals. The view is Amazing for being so close to the strip. The only suggestion my family had was for small tables to be on the decks for drinks and items.

The perfect getaway

The cabin is spectacular. Not only is it clean, spacious, well-kept, and comfortable, the hosts are kind, responsive, and attentive, and the view from the balcony is incomparable. The cabin is close to Parkway and all of Pigeon Forge’s main attractions as well as to major hiking trails. The only caveat is the drive up to the cabin - although initially a little intimidating, the drive up is totally doable, even in our old minivan without 4WD. Just don’t forget to go slow and use your parking brake! Overall, Eagle’s Perch is an excellent, if not one of the best, cabins in the Smokies and we 0 be returning here in the future.
