This cabin was describe to a T!!! It was perfect and the kitchen had enough pots, pans, & dishes to cook & feed an army. The beds were amazing. (I actually bought the exact mattress thebday we left) We will definitely be staying here again.

The cabin is decorated perfectly and very nice. Our trip was four couples celebrating a birthday and this was the perfect place to be. We were able to cook fabulous meals, play games, and just relax.

The cabin was absolutely perfect for our group—clean, spacious, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable getaway.Stephen, our host, was wonderful to work with. He was friendly, responsive, and made the entire process easy from start to finish. You can tell he really cares about his guests’ experience.One of the highlights of our trip was getting to see bears on our very first night! It made the stay feel extra special and memorable for all of us.We highly recommend Bear Sanctuary to anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly mountain retreat. We’d love to return!

We were very pleased with the cabin. It is rustic and very pretty. Bedrooms nicely decorated. Bathrooms very clean. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need. Close to downtown Gatlinburg. The host was excellent. And we did see Bear!!!! Would definitely stay and recommend for your visit.

Great place to stay! Exactly as described!Saw a lot of Bears! Apparently they know how to unlock the garbage can clips as we had ours broken into! It was all good!Hosts responded immediately! Loved all the bathrooms! It was fabulous for us to all have our own! Just a perfect experience!

Property location was awesome- we had access to three different pools, which was perfect with kids! The property was in a more secluded area, but was filled with views of wildlife. We saw bears every single day multiple times a day up close, and we were able to see owls as well! Perfect mix of outdoorsy/fun plus great distance from the hustle and bustle! Host was extremely responsive, and great to work with.

A comfortable stay!

We enjoyed staying in this home!! We liked the space, it’s much bigger than what we thought and quickly felt like home! The pool table and 4 king beds were a big hit - mattresses felt like new, nice and firm. The big kitchen table was perfect for meals and playing games! The listing pictures of the bottom deck with the hot tub are not accurate, it must be from many years ago. The deck is not nearly that new and it was very dirty. The patio furniture was unusable, unless we wanted to wash it all down and we did not. Based on the conditions, we did not feel comfortable using the hot tub. The upper deck was clean and we sat on the nice rocking chairs every afternoon! The bugs weren’t bad at all! We seen a bear almost every day, which at first we thought was super cool!!! Until our little friend got too comfortable coming up to the house, our vehicle and once even snuck up behind my daughter while she was swinging on the porch. We tried to yell and honk at it, but it did not care. Based on the amount of trash that was spread around, this was definitely the bears favorite hang out! It should probably be relocated. Thanks for the hospitality! Overall, you have a beautiful cabin in a beautiful location!

Wonderful place to stay

We loved this cabin! I really just had 2 complaints that weren't really a fault with the owner. The laundry station is on the lower level, so I would recommend bringing a laundry basket. The internet connection was very spotty and went out several times while we were there.

Great short Gatlinburg stay!

Loved our stay in this cabin! Spacious and comfy bedrooms, very clean, great location, and great host. We were only there two nights but saw bears nearby each morning. Would stay here again!

Great cabin to see bears!

This cabin is very comfy and cozy with a very welcoming front porch. If you are looking for a cabin where you can catch a glimpse of a bear - this is it! Bears every day and even some mommas with cubs! We had a wonderful time.

Bear Sanctuary

This place lives up to its name. We were lucky enough to see bears 5 out of 7 days. The cabin was very clean and well kept. We had one small inconvenience and when I messaged the host, he responded within 15 minutes. I would 10/10 recommend this cabin to any family.

Excellent friends' getaway!

We spent four days in Gatlinburg and this home served as our home base. The house is beautiful, and was exactly as the posting depicted. Great amenities and plenty of room providing king beds and private bathrooms. Excellent location that afforded us easy opportunity to go into Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Our host maintained excellent contact that made us feel comfortable and welcome. Neighborhood was also great. Highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area. If we return to visit, I will book this house again.

Beautiful and cozy place!

Super clean, nicely decorated, and in a great location with easy access to Gatlinburg and Smoky Mountain National Park. Very quiet and peaceful. Our family had a great time hanging out at the cabin—relaxing in the hot tub, playing games, and shooting pool. The beds are incredibly comfortable. We would highly recommend staying here!

Stormy stay

The property was great, lots of space, nice to watch the storms in the rocking chairs and the stream out back was lovely. Host were very accommodating. The fire place wouldn’t work(even tried to light the pilot) but small thing compared to everything else.
