The property manager was very rude. Very disrespectful. I had to hold my composure most of the time just so that I could make sure that my girlfriend could enjoy her first time at a cabin. Owner was very snappy. Disrespectful was not patient at all the first thing that he said to while I tried to ask questions about the property was if you don’t like it, you can find somewhere else to go

Had an excellent vacation. The location of the cabin, the winding roads, the slopes that sharply rose and fell coupled with sighting of wild lives were the highlights of our stay. We saw a black bear taking a long trek just behind the cabin and once more up close with another black bear on our approach to the cabin. Scott is very quick in getting back and clarifying questions. Overall an excellent trip in the woods of Smokys.

The cabin was very cozy . There was Hot tub and a jacuzzi but we didn’t use them this time. Really love the seat in arrangements outside on the porches. Far enough from the busy town and close enough for some peace and quiet time. A very pleasant place to stay.

We enjoyed the cabin very much. It is exactly as it appears in the photos. Booking and check in ere easy and the host’s communication was outstanding. Rooms were quite comfortable and clean. We definitely recommend this property. Ran into a large bear just minutes after unloading our vehicle!

This beautiful cabin was exactly as advertised, in fact even better. The cleanliness was outstanding, we couldnt even find a cobweb anywhere! The hot tub was perfectly clean and a nice way to end each day. You can tell that the owners have given a lot of thought to the decor and amenities of the property, as it had everything we could have possibly needed and was very cutely decorated, giving us a warm, cozy feeling. It was so nice being in the woods, but still having our privacy, as we enjoyed sitting on the porches listening to the sounds of nature. We did get the pleasure of seeing some early morning bears on the property, and in surrounding areas. The drive up to the cabin was interesting with the various twists and turns, but you figure it out after a few times in and out. Scott ( the owner) was excellent at communicating with us, and making sure all was well during our stay, which we greatly appreciated! If we could, we would give this cabin, its owners, and its housekeeping staff many more than 5 stars and we highly recommend it. Thanks for everything, Scott, we hope to use it again in the future!

Granddaughters trip to Dollywood!

This Chalet Cabin is perfect for a trip to Dollywood and Gatlinburg! It’s at the top of a mountain! We were visited by wild turkeys & bears! It’s perfect for a family of 4 to 6 ! Pizza delivery came right to us!

Mountains of fun

We couldn't have been more thrilled with our stay at this property. It exceeded our expectations and was one of the cleanest places we’ve ever experienced. The beds were incredibly comfortable just like our own at home which made for a perfect night's sleep. Additionally, everything was conveniently located and easy to access, enhancing our overall experience. Without a doubt, we'll be returning here on our next visit!

Great little cabin!

We really enjoyed our stay at Black Bear Cabin! It’s a super quiet area but beware there are some BIG hills to get to the cabin. We were busy during the days and early evenings enjoying the SMNP and spent one day at Dollywood. While we were at the cabin, we enjoyed playing cards on the upper deck most every night. My husband and son found the Pac-Man game upstairs most entertaining. I enjoyed reading on the front porch swing. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

Great cabin

Everything was very clean and well organized. We were able to travel light as the cabin had everything we needed. Cabin was beautiful! Very peaceful! Scott was very pleasant, booking and check in process went smooth! We will book again!

We had a nice stay but expected the parking area to be larger. There really isn’t a view other than trees. No place to hang clothes in the bedroom downstairs. It was clean and comfortable and that was much appreciated!
