Pros: This place was pretty clean. It was cozy, in good location, WiFi & tv worked good. AC worked good. The fenced in outdoor area was nice. Wife & kids enjoyed the fenced in jacoozi area.Cons: Small parking that’s directly on the road, We drove a Chevy traverse and it was pretty tight. Private jacoozi area was also right on the road. It felt like the cabin was in the middle of the road. Toilet & shower are made for smaller people. If anything falls behind the nice barrel sink with very limited space for toiletries in the bathroom, it will be challenging to retrieve was you dropped…which was obviously why belongings from previous guests were still behind it!! Bear sighting 2 days in a row there. The 2nd day was when we were loading up to leave, car doors open, bear climbs in the back(with my wife in it) & with its mouth grabbed our 100 box of jellies & stuff from the Jelly House. Conclusion: For a 100 year old cabin it’s in good shape, the pricing was fair, & because we aren’t the type that needs everything to be perfect, we would gladly stay here again. Also be aware for bears at the cabin. My family & I were all loading up to come home with the car doors open when big black bear casually walked up. My 5 year old boy hollers BEAR! I snatch up the kids and run them inside. Ole Bear doesn’t realize how close he came to becoming a rug that day.
