The cabin was perfect size. We love the big kitchen since we like to cook. I loved the deck and peaceful secluded area with the sound of the creek below the deck. Our 2 teenage boys were happy and we enjoyed the old school pac man anf Frogger. Downtown was very close, but we enjoyed driving the scenic Byway to walk around at our leisure with the beautiful mountain views. Thank you for sharing your lovely home. We would stay again.

Peaceful location with cute bear theme decorations throughout the cabin. Well stocked and the arcade games and hot tub were highlights as well! We loved our stay and highly recommend this VRBO. Plan minimum drive time of 30-45 minutes to any of the touristy stuff but returning to the quiet cabin was well worth the drive.

Everything was great! They advertised a grill and it wasn’t there. I messaged the hosts to find out what happened to it. They messaged me back and had one delivered the next day! It was such a nice and peaceful stay. We had a great time.

Great little cabin in the woods! The kitchen is perfectly equipped with everything we needed and it has a hot tub! The road coming in has exactly enough room for one car, so make sure you arrive before dark

Lovely secluded home nestled in the woods. Semi private hot tub overlooking nature was the icing on the cake! Definitely considering staying again. Enjoyed seeing bear in their natural habitat.

The house was nice & clean. It definitely needs some maintenance and repairs. The front door electronic lock doesn’t always lock. I had to tighten the screws to make it work. The toilet paper hanger is broken and not usable. The TV’s were not functional. The directions said to use the Direct TV remote, but we never found it, only the regular TV remotes. The toilets don’t flush completely unless you hold the lever down until all the paper is gone. The hot and cold in the master bedroom is backwards. There isn’t an exhaust fan in the master bathroom so the moisture has the drywall tape coming off the walls. The master bed is rough, it makes really loud noises anytime you move. Sounds like it’s going to fall in. The hot tub is nice and living room is comfortable. The kitchen is nice even though some of the drawers are broken.

Loved being in the woods and the bear theme is very nice and fun. Only one of the pools was open. It was very nice with a view of the mountains. The hot tub is also very nice. This is an older home so the second shower is quite small. The shower spout is also low in the primary suite. We enjoyed our stay. It is about a 20 minute drive to Gatlinburg. We enjoyed being away from the crowds and saw more nature and bears this way.

Get away cabin near Gatlinburg

Gatlinburg is an opportunity to split our road trip from Georgia to Ohio into 2 days and it is surrounded by the beautiful smoky mountains. We wanted the opportunity to stay somewhere in the mountains and experience some of the charm of the region on our way through. The misty mountain cabin fit our needs perfectly. The family enjoyed watching a movie together, sitting in the hot tub and playing some vintage video games tucked away up in the mountain side.

Great experience

We enjoyed every moment of our stay. Within 30 minutes of arriving, we saw a bear cub walking across the back porch! That wasn’t our only encounter. We ended up spotting the mama bear and her two cubs wandering through the neighborhood a few times.The house was even better than expected, spacious, beautifully kept, and fully stocked with everything we needed, from dishes to pots and pans. The location was perfect too: peaceful, scenic, and just a short drive to downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.There was so much to do in the area. We only wish we had more time to stay!

Great Mountain Home

We decided what we were gonna do and we packed our bags for the Misty Mountain and asked if we could stay awhile… and we did!! What a great place!! Convenient to everything. Also very peaceful, if you just want to hang close. We would definitely stay again. The owners do it up right with the communications before arriving.

Great mountain getaway

This property was pretty much exactly as described in the listing. The main floor was an open and inviting space, great for hanging out with the family, preparing/eating meals, watching TV, playing games. Nice access to the outdoor space from the living room (although it was a little too cold when we stayed). Upstairs offered the comfort and privacy of separate bedrooms and bathrooms with easy access to the screened porch and hot tub, which was enjoyed by our family several times during our stay. Access roads in and out of the property appeared to be well maintained and on the one occasion we got some snow, salt was brought and put on the driveway by who we assume is one of the owners. Communication prior to our stay was timely and informative. The digital guidebook was very thorough and well developed. Other amenities at the property, like the dishwasher and washer/dryer, were a definite plus. Proximity to local attractions was great. We would definitely stay at this property again in the future.

Cozy and Comfortable!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this adorably decorated cabin. It was a perfect place to rest and relax which we did. The king bed was very comfortable and we slept great while here. The fireplace was enjoyable as well as the hot tub. Overall a terrific getaway!
