We had an enjoyable time. The views are spectacular but not sure I would want to climb the driveway if there was snow or ice. The pool table and shuffleboard was a nice addition for the grandsons. The communication with the owners was excellent.

Relaxing and enjoying the weather, views, and friends,

We enjoyed our stay and the weather was great. We saw our animal friends from the mountains and enjoyed the swimming pool also. The cabin was as listed. It needs a few small items repaired but nothing big. Easy check in and check out! Thanks again for your help. You were very Helpful and convenient!

Gatlinburg Trip

The house was very adequate for our family size. Gorgeous views from numerous locations throughout the house as well as the porches and deck. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would book this rental unit again.

Great property. Very hospitable.

We had an awesome stay at this home. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Plenty to do in the area and plenty to keep us busy while at the property itself. They have a pool table, shuffleboard a hot tub. Awesome water pressure for the showers. Even left a few books for mom to read while the rest of the crew played the games.

Great Cabin and Amazing Communication

This house was beautiful with an amazing view. Beds were comfy, the towels were fluffy, and the host was awesome, welcoming, helpful, etc. Based on just our "normal experience" we would have left a 5 star review because we loved the cabin and the little touches. However, if I could rate more stars I would due to our once in a lifetime series of events! The area had extreme high wind alerts and fire warnings. We received a call from the owners advising us we might be evacuated - sure enough - within 5 minutes security and police were evacuating us due to a fire nearby. Owners immediately ensured we had a place to go to for the night and even welcomed/accomodated another family NOT staying in their cabin who were also displaced (Christian youth group was all evacuated from nearby lodging) that we knew. Communication was quick and they bent over backward making what was a scary experience one we can now talk about and laugh about for how it worked out so well, all due to them. Having a host with an amazing home and great views is one thing - having one that has your back if something out of their control goes wrong is beyond amazing!

Peaceful Oasis

Enjoyed the beautiful scenic views from multiple deck. Nice, relaxing house in the woods (lots of nature around including bears). Very friendly property owners and super slick instructions before arrival and during stay. Definitely would recommend!

Gorgeous mountain view

Property was very accommodating. We enjoyed all the amenities such as the pool table, shuffle board, hot tub, fire pit, and laundry. The mountain view topped off the experience.

Wonderful Views!

We had a fantastic time at Happy Trails and enjoyed everything about the property! The outdoor space was lovely and the decks included many chairs for reading and relaxing. We especially loved the hot tub and indoor shuffleboard table and pool table. Had one concern with the air conditioning fan but Stacia and Larry responded right away, even on a holiday weekend. Would definitely stay again!

Family Vacation

This property was just as listed. Fully accommodated our family of 6. 3 king beds and lots of room to spread out. Stacia and Larry were very helpful and responsive to messages when needed. Location was close enough but far enough away from downtown to get that wilderness feel and peaceful relaxation needed.

Awesome property

This house has a great setup for a mountain getaway. Close to all Gatlinburg has to offer but far enough away from crazy tourist traffic. The house is very well thought out and had everything we could possibly need to have a great stay! The owners were also very responsive and give you a ton of helpful info before you arrive. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Great hidden stay in the Smokies

This is a great place to stay with owners that really seem like they want you to have the best experience you can have. They have a great welcome guide that was handy to have before and during our stay. We definitely had bear encounters while there and it was very exciting!

Cozy & Adorable!

We loved everything about this cabin! We come to Gatlinburg every spring & these were the best views we’ve ever had! Everything was cozy & clean! Kitchen had everything we needed to cook great dinners together & the hot tub was amazing! Highly recommend!!

Short vacation to the Great Smoky Mountains

Beautiful view!!!! Relaxing and peaceful setting. Nicely decorated and all the amenities one needs for a few days in the Gatlinburg area. Plenty of parking for 2-3 vehicles. Very clean and updated. Ample seating areas inside and out, including a covered deck which was awesome on the one rainy day. Will absolutely recommend to friends and family!

Fantastic house with amazing views!

We loved this house! Super clean and comfortable. Nicely decorated. Great reclining sofas and chairs to sit by the fireplace or watch the big screen tv. Plenty of room to play pool and shuffleboard. Amazing views from every angle. We love to cook and it has a great kitchen. All bedrooms have comfortable king beds and big flat screen tvs. Great shower pressure! Amazing hot tub on a covered deck for a nice soak after long hikes in the Smokies! A quiet getaway that's a short drive to all things Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and close to National Park entrances. Great communication with the owners! They have an awesome app with all the info you need for your stay and the area! Suggestions for dining, activities, hiking trails, gift shops, grocery stores.. everything! Its super helpful for first-time visitors like ourselves. This was one of the best vacations we've ever had! Highly recommend! We can't wait to come back!
