Overall the cabin was good enough to meet our needs. Clean, had all the amenities we needed for our family. Love the seclusion and view from the balcony. On our first morning we got to see bears, which was the #1 thing my kids wanted to have happen on our first trip to the mountains. We did encounter a few issues in the cabin, but they were manageable.1) the downstairs bathroom had an issue flushing at first, but was resolved before the end of our stay.2) the outdoor hot tub was way too chlorinated, but that could just be an issue with myself and my sensitive skin. It was clean and well maintained, just hard for me personally to handle with my sensitivities.3) the internet connection was very poor the entire time. We couldn’t stream anything, which if you have kids you know is a big issue in the early morning/late evening hours when you just want a few minutes of peace 4) the downstairs bathtub could only be used with the shower head and not the faucet to fill up the tub, which made bathing my baby challenging but not impossible.5) the biggest issue we had was the pool table. Please understand, we booked this cabin for our 10-year anniversary trip. My husband and I met in college and got to know each other playing pool almost daily on campus. We wanted a pool table to relive the “good ole days.” However, because of the location of this pool table it was very challenging to play a proper game due hitting to the walls with the pool sticks. The views were the best part.
