It was just me by myself so it was perfect, only complaints are the doors and windows need replaced and the main shower valve, it leaks constantly, i just put a rag underneath it, easy fix. The mattress is really hard, some people like that but it was a cozy cabin, everything else worked and a couple friendly cats kept me company. They love chicken also. I enjoyed it.

Wonderful Weekend

Vacation

We had a fabulous time in the cabin. Loved seeing the bears and cubs! The arcade games and pool table was enjoyable on a rainy afternoon. If we are in the area again we would definitely stay again.

Breathtaking views, say a mama bear and her 2 cubs 3 of the days we were there. Everything you could need for a comfortable stay was there. Only complaint was the 2 stray cats that kept trying to get into the house every time you open deck doors. Overall it was a amazing vacation spotopen the deck doors. And may obee problem

Nothing Like Pictured

This cabin is nice inside with an amazing view, but is clearly not maintained. As we arrived, our code for the door did not work. I called the help # and used the key from the emer. lock box & the lady I spoke with seemed annoyed I called. She said she would send someone out to check our lock and nobody ever showed up. The carpet was super dirty and the fireplace had black char marks on it like someone had set the hearth on fire. The mantle was slanted like it had settled on one side & the TV was tilted upwards and seemed like it was going to fall on us. The directions for using the TV were clearly outdated & did not match the remotes present. The TV remotes were missing batteries. We found one of the remotes in the couch cushions. The back door insert is broken & a safety issue. Anyone could push the glass in and get inside. Once you walk outside and close the door behind you, you have to make sure there is someone inside to let you back in since the door gets stuck. Hot tub is sitting on rotten wood. There are holes in the bathtub in the master bedroom. Walking upstairs the railing on the spiral staircase isn’t all screwed in. There were a couple pieces of railing that were clearly not connected which is also a safety issue. If you stay here please expect to be greeted by 2 cats on the back deck and get a beautiful view of trash in the back yard. It really is a beautiful cabin but needs to be updated and maintained.

Family fun

The property was great. The cabin was perfect for our family. We had a minor problem with the back door,it was hard to open from the outside,but overall it was awesome.

Good place to stay

Very nice place to stay. Would be great for kids too with the twin beds (4) & game room upstairs. Views were good!! We also enjoyed the hot tub and open garden tub, just wish the fountain worked for added ambiance. We would definitely stay here again.

Fell in love!

This cozy cabin was exactly what we pictured! My husband, two children (8&9), and I stayed for a week and we're already excited to come back. The place has its quirks, and could stand a little updating, but the few little things only added to the charm - in fact, the only "real" issue we had was addressed a day or so after emailing the host, when a friendly maintenance man came to repair a lifted threshold. Definitely remove all food from, and lock, your cars at night; we were fortunate enough to see a bear family our first morning (but hadn't left anything interesting enough to stick around for long). All in all, we were absolutely delighted with this spot and are looking forward to our next visit!

Nice cabin that’s suffering from some neglect

The property is beautiful and has great views. The cabin itself is not well maintained and while not terrible yet, it’s definitely headed there. The floor transition pieces between the family room and kitchen were popping up and in some spots, rather than replace the screws/nails that were loose, they hammered the nail sideways, causing several ripped socks and cut feet from stepping on them. Carpet is heavily stained. The kitchen faucet only turns off if you pull the handle up and turn it to the right in just the right way. The microwave turn table is broken, causing an awful noise every time you use the microwave. There are holes in the downstairs shower wall from where a handle must have been at one time. The lint filter in the dryer is broken and after peering down the lint trap and seeing it full, we decided against using the dryer for fear of causing a fire. There is dust and dust bunnies everywhere. As I was brushing my teeth in the downstairs bathroom, I realized there were dust bunnies accumulated in every ridge of the wood panels. There were huge cobwebs along the big windows and back interior wall above the bathtub. One of the upstairs beds (more like camp cots with uncomfortable springs) was missing sheets and all 4 beds only had a thin, somewhat rough Aztec blanket that the kids didn’t even want to touch. There was a large trash bag with dirty blankets inside the downstairs closet- when I contacted property management about this, I received no response.
