The cabin was very cute and the master bed was very comfortable. The cabin was much bigger than what we needed for just the two of us and could be comfortable for 4 people (2 children). Depending on weather, you absolutely need tire chains or a 4WD; I believe that’s mentioned in the booking. It takes about 30 min to get to gatlinburg or pigeon forge from the cabin, so it’s very secluded and away from the noise and traffic of the strip. Use the directions they provide bc there is poor service and you could lose GPS.
I gave 3 starts for cleanliness because the bathroom connected to the master bedroom was not very clean. There was dried toothpaste/soap residue on the walls and inside the storage mirror/cabinet above the sink. The towels on the jacuzzi didn’t seem like they’d been washed in a while and had dead lady bugs on them. There were dead lady bugs around the jacuzzi tub as well as live lady bugs flying around the cabin. Several light bulbs on the fixtures were out in the kitchen/dining area.
The hot tub was broken and this was not disclosed, so we were very disappointed with that. We tried the indoor jacuzzi but the jets did not work, which was also a disappointment. When this was brought to the property management’s attention, they responded ‘duly noted’ in their email, so they didn’t seem too concerned, although they sent multiple emails and texts wanting a 5 star review. Overall, it was not worth $900+ for 3 nights with amenities that were ultimately not useable.
