The host was very welcoming. We decided to stay another night and was given a great rate. The house was very comfortable and had plenty of towels, blankets, and kitchen supplies. The Trolley has several stots close to this house

Not happy about not having a washer and dryer

Place did not come with a washer and dryer when i booked it i didn't see where it said it didn't we was not happy having to go to laundry mat while on vacation took for ever to get extra towels and bath cloths for the money it cost there should have been a washer and dryer

Family trip to Gatlinburg

Good location, slightly outside of the chaos of downtown. Large and comfortable rooms. Has everything you need. Very close to the road which was very loud. The unit definitely shows lived in. Carpet need a good shampoo. The bathroom walls need to be washed and the base bored throughout need to be wiped down.

Disgusting

Description stated a hot tub , there wasn’t one , also the carpet was stained in the stairwell and landing , couches was stained , we wouldn’t even sit on them ,beds were nice , it was a total let down , colonial personnal were very nice (amber) and professional in way they handled our problems , they did discount 25 dollars a nite but the place is nasty and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone

Great stay!!!

This was our second stay here and it was equally pleasant. We have stay at several rentals in Gatlinburg and for us this is our favorite. The unit is always neat, clean, and well appointed. The location is perfect. It is close to downtown and close to the action. We have stayed in rentals up the mountain and hated the drive up and down the mountain. My only improvement that I would recommend would be install a washer and dryer. The unit does not have a washer and dryer. But it is still an awesome unit. When we return to Gatlinburg we will stay here.

Week in the mountains

We had a great time here. The property was as listed clean, convenient to town, and roomy. We would stay again. The only add would be nice if it had a washer and dryer. Otherwise loved it.

This place needs alot of maintenance!

Very noisey with all the traffic and the house needs alot maintenance and a very deep cleaning. Furniture in living area needs replaced, not comfortable furniture. Would not reccommend.

Great location

The house was a short little walk into the one end of town. Very quiet area and a very short walk to some great smoked barbecue. The carpet on the steps needed a good shampooing but otherwise the house was very clean. The dishwasher leaked and put water all over the floor which we had to clean up and it didn’t get fixed while we were there so we had to hand wash the dishes. I assume they have taken care of that problem by now. I would stay there again.

Great location and accommodations

The house is a lot bigger than we thought which was great. It's a short walk to food and fun and if you've brought your pet there's a field less than 40 yards to take them for walks. We'll definitely stay here on our next trip.

Great location with a home feel

My fiancé and our took our dog to Piper’s Landing property for a long weekend in Gatlinburg. We loved the close proximity to the strip, walking to our destinations was usually faster than dealing with parking and traffic. The house was as advertised in the photos and perfect for our stay. Our favorite part was getting to hang on the second story balcony. My only complaint would be the water pressure in shower was very low.

Cozy property colocated in Gatlinburg at walking distance to all attractions and restaurants. Great getaway and hidden gem. Really clean, cozy and pet friendly. Has all amenities that you would need. Do recommend this property.

Gatlinburg getaway

This was the best overall rental we have stayed at in Gatlinburg. Fresh, clean, very well appointed, great location. We will definitely stay here again. Only thing lacking was washer and dryer in the unit.

Things didn't work, lacking towels, doesn't sleep 6 unless you like horizontal bars across the back

1) No remote control to operate upstairs MB TV. 2) We rented for 7 days, 6 people - that should have been 42 towels - NO WHERE near enough. 3) Plugs did not work in Kitchen 4) Toaster did not work 5) 1 burner on stove did not work 6) No washer and drier to even wash the towels - we had to go out and buy towels...if you aren't going to have a washer and direr, at least provide enough towels for 1 shower a day per person - like I said, that would have been 42 towels. 7) I specifically needed to have a bed for 6 people. The pull out couch had a loose spring that just fell out when you opened the couch - it wasn't hooked to anything. It was so uncomfortable you could not sleep on it. You felt the bars under the very thin mattress. Which with the loose spring, the bottom sagged to the floor. So basically, if you rent for 4 people, you may be okay. But if you are looking to sleep 6, good luck! 8) After we paid the deposit, we found out some of our group were having a hard time with the date. We wanted to reduce the stay from 7 days to 5 days. They would not respond and ignored us completely. This was a big inconvenience. We paid, but I wouldn't rent again from these people because they wouldn't give me a courtesy email or call in return to see what we could do...maybe we couldn't change the days, but a response would have been nice. 9) This is really not a fault of anyone, but the distance to town is supposed to be less than 1 mile. It was probably around that, however, don't think you will walk if you can't walk back up a hill. We had a slightly handicapped person in our group and therefore had to pay 20.00 for public parking per day to go downtown. If you are a young family in good shape, shouldn't be a problem, if you have seniors with joint problems, or parts that they weren't born with, I would think twice about walking to town. Most of the restaurants do not have parking. The good things were, it was fairly clean it was decorated nicely for Christmas and the water is hot.
