The host didn’t clean and prepare the apartment for our stay. We arrived late and realized everything is not done. Host said it took 1-2 hours for cleaning staff to arrive and clean. We ended up canceling the rest and find other place to stay at the end. Host couldn’t even anything else to compensate us. Terrible service and really old apartment.

I loved that town was just 10 mins away. I loved the view and location of the property. It was clean and spacious and easily accessible and easy communication between the host! Very pleased. Will be back!

Summer vacation

Our stayed at the apartment was great. We loved the antique decoration it had; it reminded me my grandparents house back in the 80s. Everything was organized, the bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. All the equipments at the kitchen were working. The apartment has a great view of the mountain and city; we would see few bears going around the mountains. We had a great time at this location; we would love to come back in another opportunity, and i would recommend this apartment to anyone.

Smokey Mountains

The place is fabulous. Just be aware it is on the 3rd floor and there is not an elevator. It’s clean, spacious and everything you need to cook is available to you. We had a slight appliance malfunction and it was taken care of right away. I would stay again. We even saw bears in the front yard.

Nice condo

This is a nice spacious condo. I went with my spouse, 3 children and mother in law. There was enough space for all of us and we didn’t feel crowded. The location was great and the checkin process was easy. During our stay the fridge stopped working we notified the owner, it was a good thing we brought our coolers to keep our food cold as it didn’t get fixed during our week stay. Besides that we would stay here again.

Nice Touches but false advertising and bad overall maintenance and upkeep

The property was very clean and at first glance when we got there we where very happy accept the view they show in the marketing just are not from this condo. Also the TVs everywhere are totally worthless because the remotes dont work probably and you will ruin your good mood trying to use them so we used our tablets. But that is not the worst. The refrigerator doesnt work so we lost 200 dollars worth of meat. The bed on the double bed is so bad we put it on the floor so we could sleep. THe main bath has almost no water pressure. The grill mentioned in the house rules is non existent. The view up front is power lines and a road the view in back is your neighbors balcony. We will not be using this facility when we come back.

Granny’s House

Our overall stay was fine. There were a few issues, but other than that the condo was fine. It was outdated and looked like Granny just moved out. Our fridge never got cold even after making adjustments as the directions stated. We killed several roaches in the kitchen area. The master bathroom had a plumbing issue. The tub/shower drained very slow and the toilet was hard to flush. We found a kids sock in a bed so that made us think the bedding wasn’t properly washed so we washed all of the bedding. The fold out couch is paper thin and uncomfortable. The price was cheap so we just adjusted to these issues ourselves. We went to Walmart bought bug spray and cleaner and made the place feel clean. It also had an odor to it. After doing a thorough spray it was better. We also kept an ice chest to store our food/drinks since the fridge did not work. We used the freezer as a fridge as well because it did not reach a freezing temperature. We saw bears daily around the condo which was awesome and the pools were great. I think a few updates and adjustments and this place would be a lot better.

Cozy apartment!

The apartment is nice and cozy! Definitely big enough for the 7 of us! I will say I didn’t realize the apartment was on the top floor and my mom having to walk 4 flights of stairs up and down was tough. Also, the beds aren’t the best, but after night 2 you don’t really notice that anymore. It is a very peaceful location, the 3 options for a pool is awesome, and loves that it was a furnished kitchen. Thank you!

Weekend getaway with family

Property was spacious enough. Reasonably clean. Could use a really good deep clean since there was spots on cabinets and baseboards and cob webs in some areas. I'm a housecleaner though so I notice those things However nothing major that would turn us away. All major appliances and beds etc were good. It is on the 3rd floor which we did not realize at first. Not a big deal unless you can't handle steps. Water pressure is low but hot water lasted pretty long despite a few back to back showers. Owner was responsive when checking in. No overall issues. Good location for the cost. Good for a quick weekend getaway.

An average stay

Unit was not very clean, looked like they didn’t take the time to even vacuum the condo. We found some small pieces of trash which should have been picked up if a vacuum was used. Also, carpet was pretty dirty. A lot of stains from spills. The beds were not very comfortable and one of the most disappointing things was the sofa bed. We used it for my children to sleep in but the mattress was very thin and lumpy. There were not extra pillows designated for the sofa bed either. We took some extra pillows from the other bedrooms to use. The condo was plenty big for our group. We had enough space to hang out and not feel like we were in top of each other. The kitchen was well stocked. It was also nice to have the option of a washer and dryer in the unit.

Great stay for the money

Cozy and Comfortable

I wouldn't necessarily call this a luxury condo but it is nice, pretty clean and very comfortable. Living room sofa's are very comfortable as well as the beds. Everything you need is there, towels, kitchen utensils, dishes, etc. We couldn't get the cable to work properly but the property managers said they received a notice that the cable company was having issues. The internet is very good so we watched movies from our own accounts online at night. The only major drawback, it is on the third floor with no elevator. I don't think the listing mentioned that as far as I can recall. If you have issues with stairs this could be a problem. Although it is not far from Gatlinburg, it is pretty high up on some very bad and winding roads, so it seems a lot farther away than it probably is. Listing mentions a pool; I didn't see the pool but we mostly just slept there and enjoyed the attractions of Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Sevierville during the day. I would definitely stay there again.

Overall was nice

The check in/out process was very easy. Finding it was easy. Key code lock made entering/exiting easy. Great location. Not far from Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. Parking was numbered, close, and easy to find. There were a few cosmetic things and minor issues, but we figured things out. The mattresses are all very bouncy and cheap, so not very comfortable. And because the master bed had 2 mattresses we had to remove the top one the whole trip because me and the hubby sunk to the middle. Several electrical outlets do not work which required investigating to find ones that did. The family bathroom tub will not fill for a bath and barely dribbles water. The master tub doesn’t drain fast enough. Both toilets have a flushing issue and will clog with barely any paper in it sometimes. The master sink also has a draining problem. One of the folding doors connecting the kids rooms is broken and I made sure to tell the owner when we arrived, but I noticed it’s been that way for awhile because others have mentioned it in their review. We chose this because it was very reasonably priced and had a pool. But in the listing it doesn’t mention that it’s part of a club that has 3 different pool locations and are closed on different days even in summer when we came. The one behind the complex you need to drive to. You can’t walk to it. And the other pools are miles away. Also, we weren’t told that you needed a card to access it. The card was left in the kitchen (which we didn’t use) and we never saw it til later. Luckily the club made another for us so we wouldn’t have to go back and find it. Also, while we were there our electricity went off for an hour. It apparently went off all around us so it wasn’t the host’s fault and they communicated with us til it was turned back on. But I had to drive down to Gatlinburg just to get a signal on my phone to text the host about it. So overall, we had a pleasant time. There were a few difficulties, but it does need a few fixes. Was it the best place? No. But was it functional and cheap? Did it serve a purpose? Yes.
