We loved our stay at the condo! It was super relaxing and cozy.Check-in was easy. The place was clean. The setting was perfect.The welcome gift basket was super nice!We truly enjoyed our stay!Thank you!***The only real problem we had was the hot water. The first night there was only enough hot water for one of us to take a shower (there were 4 of us all together) The next two nights, there was only enough water for 2 people to shower. Those who didn't have hot water took freezing cold showers. That wasn't pleasant!**We found 2 roaches in the kitchen.There was a full, fake fingernail laying on the window sill in the master bedroom. (Eewww!)*On Christmas day, the road to the condo was heavily congested with traffic going up to Ober Mtn. We waited in traffic for over an hour.But all in all, we had a great time!We would highly recommend it to our friends and family!

Cozy retreat in the mountains

Our family vacation was amazing, the conso was perfect for us. Great location only 8 minutes to downtown Gatlinburg but perfectly secluded in the middle of the mountains. It was the perfect retreat! We will definitely be back.

Loved our stay!

The property was beautiful and just what we were looking for... Very clean, roomy and homey . We loved the screened in porch and being nestled back in the woods yet so close town. And the staff were very responsive when we needed something. Would love to come back!

Ober Mountain Chalet exactly as advertised

Lovely condo that was well stocked with everything we needed. The condo was clean and spacious. We spent the week of 4th of July. The weekend of the 4th was very busy in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge so we took advantage of the amenities. The pools were very nice. We always choose this complex since bear sightings are very common on this route. We even saw one while sitting on our screened in porch this time. I highly recommend.

We had some problems with the unit.

Nicely decorate interior and good location but there are problems with the unit. No cell service/internet access in parking lot, so we could not access door lock code to get into condo. Internet password had been erased from chalk board in kitchen. Floors were so dirty that kids feet were black within minutes of arrival. When we turned on showers, water sprayed from connection straight out to opposite wall and toilet. Red Door staff were,very helpful.

Lovely Getaway

This place was exactly as described and as the shown by the pictures! Communication was great! Everything was easily accessible! Minutes away from downtown Gatlinburg! Neighborhood was nice and quiet! Check in was a breeze! Will definitely book again!

Okay for what we needed

The place was not bad and it suited our needs okay. It was hard to find as our GPS took us to a pizza place about 2 miles from the actual condo. Once we found it, everything was fine. The dishwasher was leaking so we did not use that

Great family getaway!

We LOVED our stay at Obear Condo! It was perfect for our week stay with our family of 5 (including 3 kids ages 8-14). The kids enjoyed their room with the two beds. The bedrooms were both comfy and spacious with nice bathrooms attached. We enjoyed watching TV in the main family room with nice open access to the kitchen and eating area. It’s even more spacious than it looks in the pictures! We also enjoyed sitting out on the nice screen in porch and playing cards or just soaking in the fresh air. The decor in the condo is very cute, tasteful, and clearly newly renovated. When we arrived, everything was very clean and ready for us! We were impressed with Red Door Getaways for communicating with us so well when we were there or if we had questions. The drive up the mountain was not scary like I thought it might be, but it is a good idea to drive a car with 4 wheel or all wheel drive. We enjoyed being a bit away from the hustle and bustle of downtown but only a 5-7 minute drive to downtown. The only category we marked down was neighborhood. We think during our stay there were neighbors who were smoking. Sometimes we could smell their smoke in our condo but we opened the windows and with all the beautiful fresh air the smell went away pretty quickly. I would highly recommend this beautiful condo!

Spacious, clean, Absolutely great😊

We took our kids to over Gatlinburg to go skiing and tubing at obermountain and to go to Dollywood for the Christmas holidays. Our stay was terrific! The Chalet was spacious, comfortable and clean. They even put up a Christmas tree for us...it was so sweet. It was very close to Ober Mountain which meant we didnt have to fight the traffic to get into Ober, and believe me there was a lot of traffic. The shuttle bus pickup was right outside the door. Easy! Our family loved it. We will definitely be back! Best Christmas Vacation. Thank you! 😊

Great condo!

This condo is perfectly located adjacent to Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Anakeesta, Ober Mountain, and the Gatlinburg strip. The condo had ample sleeping and a nice sized family room, perfect for playing board games.

Great Family of 4 Condo

We stayed 3 nights. Slept well on the nice and firm mattresses. My daughters shared the second bedroom and loved having their own beds. The condo is well shaded so the bedrooms were dark; could’ve slept all day! Plenty of space for everyone. We had everything we needed. 8 min drive to Gatlinburg. 25 min drive to Dollywood. Great views on the drive. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.
