The hot tub was hot enough for the kids and adults to enjoy. Good warm temperature and used the fire fit for marshmallows great family time outside but our was cut short black bear nearby the neighborhood. We took plenty of pictures of the bear and teenage cubs clawing on the tree. And all activities were great but the WiFi needs a little work weak signals.

Great place and location with even better views. We loved being at the top of the mountain. If you do not like driving steep winding roads this house is not for you. If you love amazing views and away from the hustle and bustle of town then book this cabin NOW! Our family soaked up every moment we were there. Morning coffee on the deck or late night talks in the hot tub anchor our memories for the cabin. A great place to stay.

The place was absolutely wonderful very nice and cozy, with comfortable beds that made it easy to relax. The Jacuzzi tub was amazing, from the soothing atmosphere to the powerful jet's it was everything we hoped for! It's close enough to Gatlinburg for convenience, but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustel.

Had the best trip! Last minute availability. Cabin described perfectly! The cabin was so cozy and had everything we needed. Loved the location, the hot tub, the grill. Host was so easy to communicate with, but we had zero issues from booking to check out. Highly recommend for your trip to the mountains.

Nice cabin, it could use some minor maintenance such as cabinet painting and door alignment otherwise, very nice.we saw our first bear in the wild, as it came up for a visit on the top deck as we were eating. He came back the next day for a visit, but he left easily was not aggressive at all, apparently other guests have been feeding him. We enjoyed our time and hot tub in the fireplace was a nice touch. Tried to build a fire, should have brought some fire starter for easier start. I would recommend this cabin.

Awesome trip to Gatlinburg

We really enjoyed our stay at Alpine Leisure. The info and attention given by the host could not have been better. We had two gentle visits by black bears both at sunset which made the trip exciting and special. The whole experience was top notch! Id book here again 100%

Wonderful Cabin Close to Gatlinburg with Tons of Wildlife

My wife and I and our dogs stayed in this cabin for three weeks between Christmas and mid January. Overall, we had an absolutely wonderful stay and loved the cabin. The cabin is about 10 minutes away from the center of Gatlinburg down Ski Mountain Road so really close to everything overall. The cabinet itself is lovely and has two bedrooms in the main house and then another bedroom downstairs with the laundry room. The driveway is easy to pull in and out of which is a total plus when you’re staying in Gatlinburg given the hills that you usually have to deal with. The biggest plus to us was all the wildlife on the premises. We saw black bears almost every day at night. We even saw some coyotes as well one night. Lots of deer, of course, but overall the wild life was totally cool to see, and we loved it. The hosts were super nice and very communicative and always helped us if we needed something. Overall, five stars and would return for sure.

Early Fall Vacation

We had a wonderful stay at Jon & Britt’s home. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. I loved the double porch. We certainly got our exercise on all the steps while we were there. Lol. The bears were there everyday but didn’t bother us they were just curious but keep that in mind. Our hosts were wonderful to work with and stayed in constant communication with us in case we needed anything. I would most definitely stay again. Martha Green

Bears!

Britt was wonderful to work with and so communicative. The house was exactly as described and very clean. The beds are super comfy! We enjoyed the hot tub and sitting on the porch. There were LOTS of bears, we saw them everyday! Gatlinburg and the park entrance are about a 15 minute drive. We also loved the clubhouses. We tried each and they were all great!

We had a wonderful stay at Alpine Leisure and everything was as advertised. My family’s favorites were the comfortable beds, outside areas and hot tub. We were also thrilled to see a total of 5 bears during our stay! They didn’t go near the home but were nosing through others trash so be sure to follow the owners instructions to lock up trash in bear proof area. We would book again.
