The view from the balcony is really beautiful, but you can only see the mountains from one corner of the porch because the trees have grown so high.
The “starter pack” came with a couple rolls of toilet paper. We only stayed 3 nights and had to go buy more because we ran out!
They also only give you a few towels, which are scratchy and barely cover your butt. Definitely not enough towels to use after the hot tub and shower, if you want to use a clean towel. We went to wash all the towels in the basement… but no laundry detergent provided!! So we had to go to food city to buy some ourselves.
Kitchen: lots of plates, cups, and mugs, but not a single spice to cook with. No salt or pepper?! Bears are not going to break in for salt and pepper, come on now.
Basement bedroom: cool that there’s a pool and foosball table, but it was musty and dingy and I was having major allergies down there. The sheets and pillows were scratchy too. When we stripped the sheets, there were a bunch of dead bugs underneath the fitted sheets.
With all of this in mind—this felt like motel or lodge quality, and the $389 per night was 100% not worth it. We were pretty disappointed in this property.
