My wife and I came out for her birthday, and have been to Gatlinburg plenty of times before. However, this trip was much more special largely in part to where we stayed. Normally we stay in hotels on the parkway, a lot of them have gotten much more expensive. We tried VRBO for the first time, and the hosts here made this experience not only comfortable and memorable, but also quite inexpensive.The views here alone are worth every penny. Early morning, midday, evening, night; each time of day offers a fantastic view that was burned into my mind during our time there. Any time we were away, I was thinking about the view. They provide a nice balcony with chairs and a table to be able to sit outside, have some coffee, and take it all in. My favorite view was the view at night honestly. It was fun sitting outside and watching wildlife, hearing people having fun at Ober, and breathing in the clean mountain air.On the inside, everything was so whimsically decorated and, even though it was a condo, it still had that southern log cabin style rustic decor that made it feel perfectly in place in Gatlinburg. They provide an entire entertainment system, upstairs AND downstairs. They have a kitchen stocked with cutlery, glassware, anything you need really. The bed was extraordinarily comfortable, nice vacation from my own bed. They had an entire binder full of local info, hiking trails, things to do, and that was a really nice touch! Make sure you sign the travellers log too! 10/10! TY
