Listing was not as advertised. There were supposed to be 2 sofa beds but there was only one. The property manager's solution was to bring an air mattress but not until the day before we were scheduled to check out.Two rocking chairs on the porch were rotten, to the point they were soft and crumbled when moved.Property manager never replied when we messaged to request the parental code PIN for the downstairs tv.Master bath toilet seat was cracked in half on one side.There were rocks from the fireplace that had came off and housekeeping had just laid them on the hearth.Overall cleanliness was great, property was not difficult to find. Quiet area.Hot tub was 108-109 even after trying to turn it down. But the lack of response from the property manager would deter us from staying at their properties in the future.

Family New Year Stay

This property was just as described. We chose it because of the view and it was perfect. The roads to this cabin are very curvy and steep. If your trip is during the winter, verify the weather conditions. You will not get to the cabin if it is snowing or icy.. The game room was great and where we ended every night. Our only issue, which was huge, was the trash. Our trash container was full at our arrival. I called and was told " we are sorry", we will have someone come and take care of it. No one came. I called everyday and no one ever came for the trash. We were there 4 days. After the 2nd day, I was told I could bring it down to the office and put it in the dumpster there. ( We had 8 people eating, snacking, drinking. ) I am sorry but I will not put trash into my car . The cabin itself was great, I do think the owners should contact the cleaning service and have them do better. The walls had cob webs all over them and we could write our name on the blinds. Several of the blind turn poles were missing also. I don't like ending on a negative note but you ask for an honest review. I just feel that when paying over 2000.00 for 4 days it should have been better.

Great Fall Break Trip

We stayed here for our fall break and loved it. The cabin was perfect for us. The kids loved the movie room and the view on the porch was perfect for morning coffee and reading in the afternoon. We would definitely stay again.

Excellent Home, Beautiful Views!!!

Gorgeous home!!! We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Magnificent views! Home has everything you need. We loved the pool table, theater room, meals on the deck, and the hot tub. 4 full bathrooms was really nice as well. We saw several bears throughout the week which was awesome. Great vacation home. We will be back!!!

Great getaway

First time to the Smokey mountains so we did not get to enjoy the house as much as we would have liked to. Movie theatre was great for the kids while I prepared food for the day in the kitchen before we set out all day for hikes. The balcony’s have gorgeous views of the mountain. My kids thought the “scary ride” up to the cabin was part of the fun.

Fantastic view

The drive up to the cabin was a little steep but the view is fantastic! Loved sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee in the morning. Our kids loved the theater room and we even got to see a bear on the property.

Beautiful Views - nearly perfect stay

Nearly perfect experience. House was beautiful with beautiful views. Perfect for two families of 5. Only issues were Temperature control in house was very out of control. People in basement were nearly frozen solid. No hairdryer and charcoal grill wasn't ideal. Media room could have used more insulation to the rest of the house. Keep in mind no charcoal, no spices, no foil, plastic wrap etc is provided in this unit. Other VRBO properties we've stayed at have provided these but they were not in Smoky Mountains.

Beautiful Views

The house was amazingly clean. The layout was very cozy. My family really enjoyed the movie theatre and game room. The house is easy to navigate to and from. Stayed in the chalet village many times. I definitely like the location of this house. The decks were very nice and has amazing views. I would recommend this house to everyone as well as stay here again in the future. Checking in was a breeze and everything was communicated with me very fast. Instructions were simple to follow.

Fun stay in Gatlinburg

We had a group of 7, 4 adults and 3 kids. The cabin was well appointed and the view from the hot tub was lovely. The only issue we ran into was temperature regulation. The thermostat did not work well. The 1st floor wouldn’t cool below 76, the basement was at least 10 degrees cooler, and the loft was about 10 degrees hotter. Thankfully the temp was nice while we were there so it wasn’t a major issue. Otherwise it was a fantastic stay.

The views were amazing. Drive up the mountain was pretty easy but definitely need 4 wheel drive in the colder months. Cleanliness could be better. Overall good vacation spot

Beautiful views!

Excellent cabin with AMAZING views! If you come up on Wiley Oakley, it's very steep, curvy and narrow. Just be careful. Watch the road signs and it's easy to find. 3 bedrooms downstairs are small but we only used them to sleep. TVs worked in some rooms, some rooms it didn't. The surround sound didn't work but we didn't fuss over it, we were enjoying no kids, celebrating a birthday and just relaxing. We had some bears as visitors, be on the watch! They were around for hours! Game room, just perfect! Hot tub super hot and awesome! The king room on the main floor is wonderful! Lots of room and a bathroom. There's 3 other bathrooms. Everything was spectacular and we couldn't have been happier! Ty!

Family Get Away

Very roomy and clean property. The views were great. The theater room was perfect for us to enjoy the game on Saturday. This cabin is definitely tops of our list if we get an opportunity for the eight if us to get away again.

Wonderful Views!

We had a great time at the cabin. Great space, comfortable, beautiful views, and great location to see bears! We saw them everyday. Be sure to lock your doors, we found out they sure can open them!
