  • Welcome to Bearly Awake, a Luxury Mountain Retreat, located on 2.5 private acres in Chalet Village in Gatlinburg, TN. From the moment you arrive, you will see some of the most beautiful views the area has to offer. You will not find a more peaceful place to enjoy time with family and friends.

    This 4500 sq ft cabin has it all. The cabin includes 6 king bedrooms (two with gas fireplaces) and 7 full baths. It has two dens (one with gas fireplace), screened in porch, outdoor covered sitting area with grill and fire pit, 2 hot tubs, putting green, and childrens playground. The basement offers a poker room with fireplace, pool table room, movie room, and kids arcade complete with air hockey, foosball, and skee ball, This is a great place for a family gathering.

Hermosaa vacaciones

Todo estaba hermoso ,desde que llegamos nos encantó, la casa no tenia fin los niños y adultos nos divertimos sienpre teniamos algo que hacer ,los cuartos enormes ,la cocina me encanto, lo mejor una vista espectacular a gatlinburg y tuvinos una visita espectacular un oso ,lo que siempre queríamos ver ,sin duda laa mwjores vacaciones .

The cabin is absolutely beautiful. Stunning views, nice amenities. Our last night we were thrilled to see a bobcat! This was a spectacular, spacious place for a family reunion. A memorable experience.

The cabin and property were as advertised and beautiful. We have 21 people staying in the cabin and we were very comfortable with room to spare. The kitchen was well equipped and the fire pit was really enjoyable as well. Overall, nice place for a large group.

We had an amazing stay at this cabin in Gatlinburg. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was great to chat with—super friendly and helpful throughout our stay.We even saw four black bears during our trip, which was an unforgettable experience—so definitely respect the wildlife!Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with a great host.

We rented this property for a group of 16, and it was absolutely perfect. There was plenty of space for everyone, along with enough bathrooms to comfortably accommodate our group. The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and even more impressive in person. The views were stunning and exactly what we were hoping for. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals throughout our stay. We got to see bears right on the property, which was such a memorable experience! the cabin exceeded our expectations and made for a wonderful stay. It was super close to town, which was so nice! It also had baby essentials (crib, toddler bed, high chair) that were so helpful! We would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic Stay

Our family enjoyed our stay very much. We especially enjoyed morning coffee in the screened in porch overlooking the valley and the stars by night at the fire pit.

Decided to choose this cabin for a family reunion and it was the best decision we ever made breathtaking views and a beautiful home made this trip well worth it and we will definitely come again

50th Anniversary Trip

Wonderful property convenient to the National Park and downtown Gatlinburg. Plenty of room for our group of 19 with great amenities. The owner was great to work with and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Excellent trip!

LOVED staying here! The view was incredible, and everything was clean. We stayed in the outdoor area almost the whole weekend because the weather was perfect. The hosts were prompt in communication and very pleasant to work with. We plan on staying here again in the future!

Amazing home, clean, beautiful views, plenty of space for all 10 of us, and very close to multiple outdoor pools. We particularly enjoyed the fire pit, pool table and large kitchen. The entire place is a perfect vacay space for a larger group and we are hoping to make it back here next year!

Parents’ 50th Anniversary

We loved everything about our stay. The property was perfect! My rough and tough 67year old father was moved to tear with how wonderful the house was that went rented to celebrate them.

This is a gorgeous home with incredible views. Our family was very comfortable here. The drive up isn't too bad, the roads are paved and wide enough. There's plenty of room inside and outside.

The property was very nice and quiet with great views. It was located close to everything you would want to do in the Gatlinburg area. The kitchen was fully stocked and all we had to do was buy groceries. Plenty of clean towels and the bedding was clean and comfortable. Some of the issues we had were, None of the games advertised worked but we were okay not using them and we enjoyed the fire pit the most. There was an issue with centipedes on the floor every morning and night in the downstairs kitchen, they were all over even climbing up the walls. We had to get bug spray and kill them every day, they were not upstairs just the two bottom floors. The check in was not good because we never got our information so we were all sitting outside waiting to get in. I had to go through VRBO to get the number to call the owner to get the information to access the home. Once I called the information came right over and we were able to enjoy our stay.

Its comfortable cute fun amazing views 8 minutes away from downtown host amazing but the bedsheets had hair the blankets also had hair the coffee maker had dust as well as other places overall good but just the cleaning should be better

Incredible home for groups!

We stayed for a week while attending a dance competition and the house was absolutely perfect! Location to the convention center was great, the home was perfectly laid out for all 4 families to have their own space and the common areas were cozy for everyone. I would highly recommend this home to anyone hosting a large group!

We loved having enough king beds and plenty of bathrooms for our group of 20 guests. The cabin was very spacious and provided enough privacy for us to be out of each other's way. The outdoor space was great and very beatuiful and as promised we did see bears on 2 different days. On the last day, a family of 4 bears was right by the patio to send me on my way home lol. It was a beautiful place to get away from our normal routines for a while.
