Relaxing get away

The cabin was nice. Very clean. And well stocked with items that we usually have to purchase. The beds are firm which we absolutely love. Personal preference on our end. We had a moment where we needed to reach out to the owner and they responded right away. Only concerns....We had moments where we would say, "I wish there was more lighting."I'm 5 feet tall. And more round than I should be, but the tubs/showers were difficult for me to get in and out of. The tubs are jacuzzi style tubs and the walls of the tubs come up to my knees. I would have loved a simple walk in shower. I do wish there was furniture on every deck. I would have loved to sit outside our bedrooms on the deck with my husband and kids without having to go back upstairs to the top deck.Same for the pool deck. I would have loved to sit outside on the deck in the cool breeze while my kids and husband were in the pool. None of these concerns would keep us from going back though. We really enjoyed our stay.

Just okay

Overall just okay..Lots of little things wrong: garbage disposal not working multiple door locks not working. Lights broken/light bulbs out. Mini split in pool area not working. Some soft deck boards. There was no soap besides dish soap in kitchen. One of jacuzzi tubs in room not working…Stuff like this we just kept finding. I usually don’t complain, but if you can overlook stuff like I mentioned above then it’s just fine. The owner/manager did try to be accommodating and was easy to reach..even offered to pay for our dinner/attraction since we couldn’t get checked in until after 5:00. But, nothing ever came of it.

Amazing

We had a wonderful weekend at this beautiful, breathtaking cabin My grandkids enjoy the pool , the Jacuzzi, the pool again and the Jacuzzi if you asked them.The view it's the best , looking down to Gatlinburg and pigeon forge...we saw two bears next to the cabin , I guess they were just curious, so , they came , they checked and they left .But this experience it will be on my grandsons memories for a lifetime.The Elks was the best part too...so many things to be grateful and I'm absolutely grateful for spending my birthday with my daughters and grandkids here !Thank you , thank you thank you

Family Fun

Our stay at the cabin was nothing short of memorable! From the breathtaking views upon arrival, the indoor heated pool and hot tub, and the cozy and inviting decor. I traveled with a large group consisting of 3 families with children. We were never bored and even the adults had some fun with the pool table and gaming table! I recommend this spot for anyone that wants to be entertained while feeling right at home. We even got to see a bear near the cabin, putting the icing on top! The host was very communicable and hospitable and made the stay feel comfortable, like being at an old friend’s. Can’t recommend this place enough

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

The kitchen and bathrooms were filthy and moldy. When we arrived, we found the kitchen sink clogged and dirty underwear from the previous guest. The balcony was also not clean, and the BBQ was in poor condition. It was the worst experience I have had. I was very disappointed because we drove from Florida expecting something completely different experience.

Not it’s cracked up to be

I waited to do this review to see if Chris would make the situation right. What I thought was going to be a great birthday experience was anything but that. My day started with a text from the Chris giving check in information in a timely manner. He seemed pleasant but I would soon find out it was all smoke and mirrors. Upon arrival I was met with a filthy cabin. No one had cleaned or inspected since the last guest were there. Every bed was unmade with dirty linen as if the guest had just gotten out of bed. There were soiled towels in wash cloths in each bathroom, no toilet tissue, dirty linen in the foyer and living room. Food was still in the refrigerator. I called to alert Chris of these horrible conditions and he stated that he would send someone to get this in order and for my troubles give a night free since later i would discover the young man would not leave until minutes before midnight. He also stated the cleaning fee would be refunded. I can tell you the cleaning of the cabin was the last word he kept despite my communication with him about continuing issues. The pool was ice cold and never warmed even though we were told it was fixed. ANTS WERE EVERYWHERE (counters, tables, bathrooms and even the beds: all of them, we tried switching). The refrigerator get moderately cold but the knob is broken to adjust. Several doors don’t lock. The tub in one of the downstairs bathrooms just twist but is broken. There is only one tub stopper so multiple guest could not enjoy.

Refrigerator is not working and wasn’t fixed by the time we left. The owner or property manager did send someone out to look at it and brought out a dorm fridge. Grateful for that but had to get another cooler and buy ice every day.

Beautiful views & cozy home

We had a great stay with family. Chris the property manager was great and super responsive! The views were breathtaking & the home was very cozy. Our only issue was the plowing of the roads by the HOA. We had a decent amount of snow one day & we weren’t able to get out until they came to plow after 3pm. We knew enough to wait it out, several other people in the development didn’t & got stuck all over. But it was 15 degrees out so we didn’t mind being “Stuck” inside. We will most likely be back!

Awesome mountain cabin with amazing view

Amazing place. Beautiful view. Lots of space for our family of 8. Plenty to do at the cabin. Hot tub, pool table, video game, heated indoor pool... amazing. Host was awesome too. Very helpful and answered quickly, even at 2 am when we got there... lol. Great place. Would recommend to anyone.

Disappointed

Very difficult to communicate. Got zero checkin or checkout instructions until I was at the door. Cabin was filthy, especially the kitchen. Ants in the cabinets. Missing light bulbs. Tubs that had non working faucets. Ceiling fans covered in dust and then the fridge went out. Lost our 500 worth of food and had to buy over 100 of ice Chris Lacey promised to be in touch regarding compensation. Have not heard one word. And the link to Vrbo on the app did not work. Worst rental ever.

We had originally booked with another vrbo, and things weren’t as expected. We reached out to Chris, and he accommodated us THAT DAY! We were so thankful. The cabin was beautiful, and exactly what we were looking for. We will definitely be back!

Family vacation

The property was exactly what the app stated. Very nice and clean. We were also able to check in a little early, which was very nice! Great experience for the whole family staying in the mountains. If you wanna see bears this is the spot! Just be careful and do not feed them! The response time was super quick with no problem. We are very appreciative for allowing our family to enjoy this vacation at your property. We love the Smoky Mountains!!

Decent cabin

Overall the cabin was nice. The only thing about this cabin is, if you have anyone in your party that has mobility issues such as walking/climbing stairs, this cabin is not for you. My parents both are older and having issues walking up and down stairs and all of the bedrooms in the cabin are either upstairs or downstairs. Other than that, the cabin is decent— we got to see a lot of bears up there.

Didn’t know I was nervous about heights… until

What an awesome place to stay! We are a family of eight and the place easily accommodated everyone. Age range from 2 to 38. It was clean, open and tastefully decorated. The hot tub with the views was amazing after the hikes during the day. The kids enjoyed the pool everyday and were able to spend a lot time in there with it being heated. Everyone was worn out at the end of each day and were able to get a good nights rest in the comfy beds. The drive there was something else. I’m not sure what we were expecting but it wasn’t that! The drive to the cabin is one for the books of making me uneasy. I’m not or didn’t think I was afraid of heights but the drive to the cabin is crazy. It never seems to end going up hill and the tight turns with no guard rails were making my knuckles sweet but once we were there it was all worth it. After driving to town and back a few times, it became easier and the heart raced less each time. It’s close to town but also right there in a short drive. We loved this cabin and look forward to another trip in the future. The host is super easy to work with. He even found a water bottle of my sons that was left behind and offered to ship it. We were very appreciative of this gesture as most would just toss it. We highly recommend staying here!
