Great Location for outings to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge

Enjoyed the comfort and surroundings of the cabin.We saw black bears from the deck and enjoyed the views of the mountains. Snow covered peaks when we arrived were unexpected and beautiful.There are several ways to bypass Gatlinburg center from the cabin for outings to mini golf, mountain coasters and our favorite Climb Works Ziplining! Amazing experience all around. Thanks to the host for her great communication and suggested sites and dinning locations. Would love to return for another family stay in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee.

Perfect get away cabin

This cabin was perfect for our family! There were adult and kids with us and everyone enjoyed it! From the hot tub to all the games in the game room, there was plenty for everyone to have something to do! There’s views of the mountains too! We will be going back in the future and can’t wait!

Fantastic Stay

From the moment we booked, the communication was excellent. Joyce answered questions promptly and I’m so glad we chose this cabin! The hot tub and fire place on deck were great, the views breathtaking! All the rooms were clean and comfortable. The fireplace inside was easy to use and so cozy. We had such a great time, we found it hard to leave the cabin. The location couldn’t have been better, close to downtown GT but you still feel like you’re in a nice quiet area. We will be booking again!

Good vacation

Enjoyed our time here. Kids liked the arcade console and game room. Teens enjoyed upstairs privacy. Parents enjoyed morning coffee and tea by the outside table fire. A good time was had by all.

Great getaway

We had a wonderful long weekend at this beautiful mountain home. We had a great time listening to the rain and watching the wildlife from the back porch. The home was very clean and met our needs well. We were traveling with an infant and a 4 year old. Our four year old loved all the games downstairs. We will be sure to rent again next year. The door at the top of the stairs will be very helpful when our infant is walking next year.

Family Getaway

This cabin was a perfect fit for our family of 6 and could have easily accommodated more if needed. It was clean and provided plenty of space for the family to spread out. The queen size bunk beds were great for our teenage girls and our kids LOVED the game room. They had a whole floor all to themselves. Having two masters and one on the main level was a huge help. We brought my mom who is physically unable to do a lot of stairs, so that main level master and bath were great. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the tools needed to cook full meals as we did. Basic necessities like salt, pepper, sugar, oil are not provided. The host did provide an accurate list of what you may need so be sure to read that before you arrive. Close access to downtown Gatlinburg and about a 20-30 minute drive to Pigeon Forge. The water was hot and pressure was great for showering. No issues with wifi and we were able to sign in to our Netflix account. Hot tub was lovely. Great communication from the host. We would recommend and stay again. Thanks Joyce!

Gatlinburg Vacation

We come to Gatlinburg frequently and always rent a cabin just outside of Gatlinburg proper. This cabin was an excellent choice - one of the best we have stayed in. It was very clean and furnished nicely; it was true to the pictures. The main bedroom bed was very comfortable and the only complaint was there was no closet for hanging clothes although there was ample drawer space. We used an upstairs closet which was not a problem. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and plenty of glasses, dishes and silverware. The outside jacuzzi was clean and worked well. We do a lot of hiking in the National Park, so we ended up not using the game room, however, there were a variety of electronic games, board games, and books available. It was a great place to stay which made our vacation even better.

Cameras Record Renters During Stay

I will start by saying that we found the cabin to be clean, and the kids enjoyed the game room. Our dog scratched the door jamb and we were charged fairly for the repair. In the listing cameras are mentioned for "safety and security" on the front chalet (porch). We WRONGLY assumed that these cameras were for use between rentals to provide security. This was not the case. Renters are recorded consistently in the front of the property, porch and front yard/drive. This made using our phones very difficult, as the porch offered the best service on our carrier. Basically we could not use the porch at all due to recording. We asked the host(Joyce) to turn them off because we were uncomfortable, and did not realize they would be recording us while on rental. She said no. At this point we just wanted to leave, as we felt that we were not properly informed about the camera usage. Leaving wasn't possible due to the money we'd spent. I felt the listing was very vague, perhaps intentionally so concerning the usage of the cameras. Some people may not mind being recorded like this, but we didn't like it, as it affected our phone usage as well as our expectation of privacy in a private rental. Had Joyce worked with us on this issue, our experience may have been different. I wish I had known this prior to booking. Had we known we would have chosen a different cabin. I privately messaged our dissatisfaction to Joyce prior to this review, with no response from her.

Perfect Getaway!

The cabin was absolutely gorgeous and just as described. Joyce was a delight, checking in during our stay to make sure everything was perfect and if anything was needed. We even got to see a few bears during our time! We will definitely be back!!

Family Spring Break

Amazing mountain cabin!! Very clean upon check in. Loved all the extras like the hot tube, gas fire place and fire pit, game room. Easy to access once we located the easier route. Near to Gatlinburg and National Park. Just a little bit further to Pigeon Forge and Dollywood. Master king bed was super comfy. Owner very responsive. Highly recommend.
