Acerca de esta propiedad

Lover's Escape - Private Antique Log Cabin with Panoramic Mountain Views

  • Step back in time without sacrificing modern luxury. Lover’s Escape is a meticulously restored, authentic antique log cabin originally built in the 1800s and relocated to the private Timberidge community. Perched at the very end of a dead-end road, this romantic retreat offers the rarest of Smoky Mountain luxuries: privacy combined with long-range, 180-degree mountain views.

Positioned perfectly for explorers, Lover's Escape is located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. You are minutes away from every major attraction while remaining tucked away in a quiet wildlife preserve.

    * 5 Minutes: Great Smoky Mountains National Park entrance.

    * 5 Minutes: Downtown Gatlinburg & Anakeesta.

    * 10 Minutes: Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, and The Island.

    * 4 Minutes: Wild Bear Falls Indoor Water Park.

The cabin's interior features hand-hewn logs and a warm, rustic atmosphere paired with upscale modern conveniences:

    * The View: Enjoy your morning coffee in rocking chairs on the covered porch while watching for "locals"—bears, deer, turkeys, and eagles are frequent visitors.

    * Relaxation: A private outdoor hot tub overlooks the mountain ridges, providing the perfect spot for sunset viewing or stargazing.

    * Cozy Interiors: Warm up by the stone gas fireplace in the open living area or enjoy a movie on one of two Roku HD Smart TVs.

    * Chef’s Kitchen: Fully equipped kitchen with all the essentials for a romantic dinner at home.

    * King Suite: A spacious bedroom featuring a comfortable King-size bed and high-quality linens.

    * High-Speed Wi-Fi: Perfect for streaming or remote work.

    * Full Laundry: In-cabin washer and dryer for your convenience.

    * Easy Access: Level parking and easy turn-around, rare for cabins with these views.

    * Privacy: Only one other cabin at the end of the road—no "cabin graveyard" feel here.

Timberidge is a dedicated animal preserve. We take pride in being a quiet, nature-focused community. If you are looking for a peaceful escape to reconnect with nature and your partner, Lover’s Escape is your destination.

Great property, plenty of space, clean and great views. Road was an interesting drive up the mountainside but any cabin with that kind of view is similar.

Beautiful clean interior. Very comfortable vibe. There was a great view from the deck and the porch. If you love being in nature, this lodging was a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life to take a step back and just enjoy precious moments. There is a kitchen, washer dryer, half bathroom and a full bathroom in the room. Great stay.

Cabin was spacious and inviting with lots of space for clothes and tucking away suitcases. Our favorite things were coffee on the balcony in the morning and sunsets at night! The Artist Community was our favorite area to shop - fewer crowds and accessible from the cabin without going into downtown Gatlinburg. We had a fantastic week!

Beautiful Cabin

We loved this cabin. It was clean, cozy and had amazing views. The area is secluded and quiet, exactly what we were looking for. The cabin has all the modern conveniences with a rustic and woodsy atmosphere. We couldn’t find one negative thing to say about it. We are already planning our next visit.

The cabin was in a great location to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. It was clean and in a quiet location. The host was very informative with check in instructions and checking to make sure we arrived and had no issues. Follow his directions given by the instead of the GPS because our gps lead us to the wrong location and had us taking roads that were a little sketchy in a dually truck. We even got a glimpse of the neighborhood bear leaving the cabin after we checked out. We will definitely be back.

Great break from reality!

The views from the back porch are amazing! Derek was great to communicate with and was very accommodating when I wanted to book same-day. 4 stars on location simply because Apple Maps originally had me turning too soon and I ended up on the back side of the mountain. 1-2 switchbacks but they aren’t terrible.
