Honeypot Hideaway was the perfect place for our (extended) family of 11 to spend the week. We especially appreciated the large bedrooms and bathrooms; there was plenty of space for all of our suitcases. The porches had wonderful rocking chairs to enjoy the weather. They overlook a winding road, but it is not busy. The amenities were fantastic - kids through grandparents thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, and video games. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook, and we could even all fit around the large dining table! The house is located in a great spot - tucked away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to enjoy any activity in Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. We’d definitely stay here again if we return to the area!

We loved HoneyPot cabin. It was perfect for our family of 6. We had an enjoyable Thanksgiving weekend. Very clean and organized. Had a lot of amenities and extras. Kitchen well stocked. Location was great to get to the Parkway and the National Park. The host is very nice and responds promptly. Made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again. K. Incredible!

Honey Pot Hideaway was exactly as advertised. The interior is rustic and gorgeous, it is obvious a lot of effort has been put in to the property. The rooms were comfy, bathrooms were clean. The kitchen is well stocked as is the laundry room. We all loved the game room, the two arcade games were a family favorite. There are also board games and DVD’s. The dual porches were a great way to relax - especially the hot tub on the lower porch. The property is situated in a way you have neighbors you can hear - but not crammed right next to you. Be prepared for some of the curviest driving you’ll ever experience; it took two days to get our bearings on how to get back to the Honey Pot Hideaway as our GPS had us utilize multiple routes. Gatlinburg is easily accessible, be prepared for lots of pedestrians when driving in town, traffic moves slowly. The check in/check out instructions were simple to follow, John was very attentive and reached out to ensure we had no issues. John also provides a guidebook with suggestions which we found super helpful. Overall, we LOVED the Honey Pot Hideaway. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay in Gatlinburg. The Honey Pot Hideway is a Honey DO!

Gatlinburg

The cabin was very easy to find and spotlessly clean. Everything was well-maintained, and the hot tub was a great way to relax. We had a blast playing video games with the family at night. Its location was perfect—just a few minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, yet peaceful and quiet in the evenings. Overall, I’d give it a solid 10 out of 10.

Fishing Gatlinburg

This was the second time we've stayed art this property and I expect we'll stay there again next year if it's available. The bedrooms are large and each one has its own bathroom. The kitchen is well stocked to cook large meals for groups of 4 or more. One member of our group has some mobility issues so it's great to be able to pull right up to the front door, 2 steps and you're inside. Both floors have a deck, which is perfect after a long day in the water. We always enjoy the game room and pool table. Highly recommend this cabin for friends or family trips. You're about a 5 minute drive from the madness of downtown if you're into that scene.

Perfect Vacation Cabin

Our group of 8 had a great time at the cabin. The location was perfect! It is not high up so didn't have to worry about driving up a steep driveway. Plenty of room to park. It was great that each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom and there was plenty of common area when we were all together. The cabin is well stocked and was very clean. Would definitely rent again with a larger group.

Perfect Family Vacation Cabin

Our family had a wonderful experience at our cabin! It was very clean, well stocked, and comfortable! We had plenty of room. The game room was fun! We loved preparing meals and our family eating at the large table. We also played games at that table. We enjoyed using the grill, the hot tub, and the washer and dryer. We created many memories at this cabin. We would love to stay here again.

Peaceful and comfortable

Overall, this properly was nice. There were extra touches not often seen elsewhere. It was clean and organized and the owners were courteous. Our only complaint was the delayed responses to messages sent for an early check-in (since we arrived early) and a solution to the outlet failure in the kitchen, which never materialized. In the end, we worked around these minor issues and enjoyed our stay. I would rate this a 4.7 (but it only provides for 4 or 5 stars). I would stay here again

Very inviting!!!

Had a wonderful stay at a well maintained and clean residence! Many amenities made our stay enjoyable such as Kuerig and Nespresso machines and especially the game room and hot tub!! Beautiful views from both decks!! Big, spacious bedrooms were an added plus!!

We had a great week in the smokies

We had beautiful weather and our housing was perfect for us as we had 4 couples and we each had our own bedroom and bathroom. We loved it and would be happy to stay here again if we all would come back to the smokies.

Family vacation

The cabin was spotless and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans and utensils. Each bedroom is spacious and the beds are comfortable. There are several board games, a pool table and arcade games that were enjoyed by all. We had ample parking for 2 midsize cars and 2 large trucks. It is located 2 minutes from the arts and craft community on Glades road. We had a very pleasant stay. Thank you!

Gatlinburg Johnson Rd Cabin Review

Amazing property with a great location. Everything we needed within 30 minutes or less. Hosts are extremely accommodating, even provided a high chair, baby gates, and a pack and play for small children. We spent Christmas there and had a great time playing pool, video games, going in the hot tub. There’s something for everyone. We had kids of all ages (ages 1, 3, 10, 17 and 20) plus parents and not a single complaint. Everyone enjoyed and I would highly recommend this property.

Loved our stay here. Everything we needed was available in the cabin from cooking utensils to laundry detergent. The cabin was well maintained. Our only problem was parking. We had 2 full-sized trucks and 2 SUVs which made for creative parking. The host checked on us often which was appreciated. It was so close to the event we attended at Rocky Top Sports World (a five minute drive). The game room was a big hit with everyone. I would stay here again.
